Target deals still in effect! DVD Extravaganza :)

I stopped by Target today to take back a sweater I bought a week ago and then had one of those 'what was I thinking' moments Anyway, I strolled over to the DVD section just to see if the box sets were by chance still on sale and they were! I thought the sale was only for yesterday. Nothing really interested me that much, but then I started looking around and saw that a LOT of the regular DVDs were on sale for between $5.88 and $8.88. I got these for people for Christmas:

Family Guy, the true story of Stewie $8.88
Robots $8.88
Shark Tale $5.88
Meet The Fockers $5.88
Shrek 2 $5.88

I got 5 GREAT DVDs for $35.40 and they normally would have been between $75-$100. Great deal thankfully since money is really tight right now! They had about 10 others that were in this same price range too. Let me see if I can remember what else was this cheap...

Hitch $8.88 (considered this one, great movie!)
Bewitched $8.88 (also a GREAT movie!)
Still thinking....

Hi I'm glad you replied to my thread, even if it was OT I was getting a complex I was at Target around 3:15 maybe?? I was also at the Towne Centre after Target. We must've been doing the same rounds. LOVING this weather, but I wasn't able to go home for Thanksgiving because they got a ton of snow on Wednesday so that stunk My job is going great, but my fiance is still looking so the money situation right now is AWFUL! (You don't happen to have any connections with the local or college sports teams, TV, radio or newspapers do you? ) Therefore, my shopping is not done. Consider yourself lucky The crowds are only going to get worse


PS. For anyone who is actually reading this about the original topic, I remembered another DVD that was $8.88- Kicking and Screaming

Well, one of DS17's best friend's dad is a sports writer with the Charleston Paper! He covers The Citadel. He's a real friendly guy although kinda quiet. I'm sure he'd at least talk to your DH. I used to work in radio here, but haven't for over 15 years.....

Ours had them all too, but they were gone ASAP. It was the only section in the whole DVD area that was totally empty.

I noticed the same thing.
They were out of Hitch for $8.88 and I took a chance and asked them if I could have a rain check and I got it! I was shocked they gave me a rain check on a deal like that. Woo Hoo!!!!
