Target - 75% off Halloween!!

Thank you al for the tip about the sale. I have needed to buy ALOT of candy for my dh and his soldier's Christmas stockings that we are packing. I bought about 11 or so bags of candy and spent about $8.00 on it and then I of course I had to buy some kleenex. :flower:

Just got back from my Target - not much left just alot of costumes!!

I did pick up 2 XL t-shirts for my son - had sayings "drop dead" and "numb skull" - he is 15 and will probably like these - $1.25 each

Also got...

The Wilton sprinkle decorations for cakes, etc... In one container has several different kinds of sprinkles - bought 2 - $1.24 each

Another Wilton sprinkle - black and orange balls $0.74 each

and some paper plates with pumpkins on them $0.75 each

Thats about all there was - except alot of candy corn - didnt need anymore of that!!!!

I went again last night and they had brought out different stuff ........... I know because I had been there already 3 times after Halloween and I had 'studied' all the stuff.
They had the Barbie Halloween doll for $2.49 each ............ bought 4 of those. They had Halloween books that have the buttons that you pusg that makes different sounds - $1.49. Their were a lot of other good and nice Halloween books ......... I bought alot!!
I need to stay away from that store .......... I keep spending money!! :flower:

I went to 2 different Target stores today. I always notice that the newer stores usually have a lot more left over and that was the case again. Great selection at the store that opened 5 months ago, nothing left (but the candy corn!) at the closer, older store. Anyway, the decorations my daughter wants are still too expensive. They were 14.99 each and she wants 6. YIKES! I want to wait for 90% but they say "we can't give out that information" when I call the stores and ask what the discount is. Has anyone been been able to get that info on the phone??

Most of the times the people the phone have no idea if the stuff is 90% off so I wouldn't even waste your time calling.

Still 75% here too.

I am bummed since I have to work tomorrow morning and will have to wait until noontime to go back! Don't buy it all before I get there - they had lots left this morning!

ANy time DH and myself go away for a holiday we leave daily surprises for DD and DS. I bought DD a ghost pen from Target, left it for her Friday, October 28 surprise, thought she would like it for school because they were out on Halloween. SOme kids stole it before school even started. I told DH yesterday about it and he said lets drop by Target and see if they have anymore. I was like...right...no way will they....they 1 ghost pen left and about 5 other styles at 75% off. I was about to get 4 for a $1!!! I was so thrilled. I also did what another person said they are going to do. I picked up a pack of wine charms, 2 packs of the wine cards, a wine journal and a small cutting board. I loved the idea of a wine basket. So now all I have to do is fine a nice basket and buy a bottle of wine for my boss and vola her Christmas present is done.

All I spent was $4.28. I was thrilled with all the things I bought. DS loved the halloween masks!

I just hope Target is not getting rid of their $1 section. I love it. Much better quality then the Dollar stores in the area.

I think it is just a seasonal thing. I was there a few months ago when they had 75% off the dollar spot. It was just to change the merchandise.

My store is still at 75% off as well. They have a TON of stuff left!! Lots of the fiber optic tombstones and more outside stuff. I'll be going back in the morning.

When I went to Target I asked a guy where the Halloween stuff was. He told me where they moved it to and then he added...it's 75% off today and going to 90% tomorrow. So, as suspected, tomorrow is the day. They had so much stuff left! Funny how some are wiped out and a Target 3 miles away is LOADED. I never noticed one store as being busier than another. :confused3

My Target was 75% off and they still had a lot of boys costumes like the Power Rangers, some fantastic 4 ones I don't know there names, Captain America, and Wolverine. My DH was so happy because DS would put on a princess crown when he wanted to play dress up. They also had the girls leggings with spider webs and candy corn on them. Tons of witch hats.

Its always like that here in the Twin Cites area. I'll be hitting about 6 to 8 stores tomorrow buying things for next years halloween party.

I got some good deals at Target -75% off.

Old Navy also had 75% off. Got a lot of Halloween Ts. Most were reg. $5, I got them for .97. Out of curiosity I went to Old Navy's website. Clearance on Halloween shirts weren't nearly as good as the brick & mortar stores. The same shirts I got for .97 were $2.99 online.

I think I'll check out the stores for 90% off. That's too good to pass up!

:rotfl2: That is why I didn't think twice about getting DS the $3.24 knight costume that he found at WM this morning. He does have a king/queen cape BUT the thing that he wears most often when dressing up with DD is a velour long blue gown. ;) Maybe now that he has another option, he will leave that outfit alone! :teeth:

We picked up a yard decoration for just over $4 that will look rather spooky if we don't rake for a week. I was quite happy with that! We also picked up the 4 foot tall inflatable and lighted vampire Tigger at the caldron from Old Time Pottery for 50% off.....not bad for just over $8. I love a deal. Maggie

I'll be checking out the 2 targets that I pass on my way home from work tomorrow. Can't beat a great target seasonal sale!
