Target $10 off WYS $50 on Food or Beverage starting 11/17/13

Go to totallytarget.com and get the scoop on how to do this deal. The lady who writes this blog, Kerri, said to give the $10 coupon first so it will apply, then give the rest of the coupons. Then any smartphone coupons, then Cartwheel. I had to go there today, so I "pre-shopped" and priced out what I need this week and what I could buy this week for next week. I thought $50 is a lot for me at Target, since I don't buy a lot of groceries there. I took my clipboard, pencil, and wrote down everything, prices, and matched up my coupons, etc. and I put it into a Google Drive spreadsheet and it added it up for me, and I am over $50. I always buy Jennie-o extra lean ground turkey, and that is $5.99 so that is a big chunk right there. I might even have enough to use a second coupon later this week. Good luck!:wave2:

If you have food to buy in multiples of $50 it will pay to split your order and hit different registers. I was able to print 2. Plus I will text for the phone coupon and cut it out of the flier.

We used ours yesterday to buy turkeys - one for us, and the rest to donate. In my area Target has Archer Farms turkeys on sale for $0.79 a pound; with the discount that's the cheapest I've seen this year.

There is a 10% off Cartwheel coupon for the MP turkeys, making them 71¢/lb. before the $10/$50 coupon or any REDCard discount,

I did this deal twice today. My total before coupons was just over $50 each time. The first deal came out to $19+ after manufacturers coupons, Target coupons, Target mobile coupons and Cartwheel discounts. The second one ended up being $26+. Not bad for an afternoon of grocery shopping.

I have one more trip to make, but I'm going to wait until later in the week to do it.

I found time to do this deal today, so I did it. Since I had a printed out spreadsheet, I figured I should be able to breeze through it quickly, and I did. When I got to the registers, they were a little busy, but a new one opened up and I was the second customer. The cashier didn't even greet me, I am the one that said hi to her. I had 24 items (I just counted) which isn't that bad, considering how much stuff some people had. I gave her my $10 coupon, then the rest of the paper coupons, then my Cartwheel on the phone. by the time I showed her my Cartwheel, she actually groaned! Afterwards I thought I would finally do one of those receipt surveys, which I don't do very often anymore, and of course, this time there wasn't one. I am kind of irked that Target offers these promotions, their employees shouldn't grumble about them. Anyway I saved 50% after all that, and I'm going back later this week for more. So take that, Target cashier!

Wow that is crappy. My cashier today was so excited I found the coupon in the ad. And when she realized I had saved $30 off $75 she congratulated me on doing such a good job! I was feeling pretty awesome walking out of there today.

Yes it does
This is what we did last night.

We are what people call extreme couponers...so we get 6 Sunday papers delivered and we have friends who give us their coupon inserts.
So we know that we will have at least 6 printed coupons.
Then we can also get the coupon from target mobile text deals.

We went shopping for thanksgiving supplies. Split the transactions into 2( since 2 of us went shopping) with each having food above the $50....and then other items
So we can use a coupon $10/$50 for each transaction.
Then use your normal coupons, target store printed coupons, carthweel and red card discounts.

We saved $132.00 last night on food. On what would have cost over $270...only paying just a bit over $140. Not our best run...but for holiday shopping it's pretty good.

One transaction total was $104.79 ...we only paid $46.26
The other transaction was $168.75 and only paid $94.19

It pays to take advantage of every deal you can

I just want to double check - if you have done your shopping were you able to also use Target Web Coupons without any trouble?

I was reading on another site and some posters stated they were not allowed to use them in conjunction with the $10 off Food or beverage purchase of $50 or more.

I'm still working on my list but I was planning on doing this -
$10 off $50 Food / beverage Target Web Coupon
Manufacturer's Coupons
Target Web Coupons
Target Cartwheel

5% off by paying via Target Red Card

scanning the receipt / ibotta app

:cheer2:

I didn't have any problems at all. I've used all of the coupons and discounts that you mentioned plus the Pharma5. I gave the $10:$50 W first, followed by the manu Qs.and Target web Qs, then Pharma5, the mobile Qs and the Cartwheel. Paid with my REDCard. All the discounts came off where they applied.

Thanks again to the OP for the heads up on this. I went to Target today with my fistful of coupons, my cartwheel print-out, my reuseable bags, and my list. I definitely could have used a few more of those $10-off-$50 coupons, as my two totals (two transactions) were both over $100, but I live waaaaay too far from Target to consider going back again this week.

In addition to the two $10 coupons, I had lots of other Target and manufacturer coupons that I was able to combine in some cases.... plus I bought shampoo with rather high value coupons that had a "buy 3 get a $5 gc", so I used the $5 gc on my second transaction. I restocked my pantry and freezer, got a few Christmas gifts (nut mixes and such), and a few things for the food pantry in town. I haven't done the math, but between the $10 coupons, the cartwheel, and my other coupons, I'm quite sure that I saved at least $35 dollars. I'll do the math late and let you all know! Thanks again!...............P

I used this one, another $10 off a $100 purchase and several grocery/store coupons all on the same transaction.

I had no idea there were also Target Mobile Coupons too! I may have to rethink my plans. :thumbsup2
