I was Listening to the Podcast (2/10/2011) and I heard that someone missed the Tapastry of Dreams Parade at Epcot. I missed that Parade The Music was so uplifting and the Costumes were Beautiful. I also Missed Eastern Airlines "If you had Wings" The Delta Dreamflight was soo Boring.

I think this parade was the best thing Disney has ever done but I may be a little biased.

It was October of 1999 and it was my niece's first trip at age 9. On the airplane on the way down, she said that she wanted to dance in the parade like the kids in the tv ads and I had no idea of how the fulfill that wish. However, the night we saw this parade, a butterfly dancer stopped, took her hand and lead her out to dance with her. I blame that experience for the fact that now as a junior in college her goal is to finish a semester early and do the disney college program.

There was some confusion on the PodCast about if the parade was "Tapestry of Dreams" or "Tapestry of Nations" Actually, both answers are correct. I believe the first incarnation was Tapestry of Nations and featured three separate parade groups around World Showcase. The later incarnation was Tapestry of Dreams and only had two separate parade groups.

I used to get chills when those fantastic drums went by. It was also such a thrill to be touched by one of those lovely golden "Dreams" fairies

I much preferred the Tapestry of Nations version of the parade. I felt it lost something when they changed to Tapestry of Dreams. Of course having said that, I'd still take Tapestry of Dreams back if given the opportunity!

Totally agree 1000%

Loved, loved, loved Tapestry of Nations.
Wasn't as thrilled with Tapestry of Dreams, but it sure was better than no parade!!

We still play the original music at home.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but there is a song titled Tapestry Of Nations on the album Millennium Celebration. It runs 23 minutes long; given the length of the song, I might assume that it is the soundtrack for the parade. I found the cd last summer in a Salvation Army store. It can be found on eBay. (I also found The Three Caballeros on VHS, which my kids love, and makes the Gran Fiesta Tour much more enjoyable.)

Yes, that is the soundtrack for the Tapestry of Nations parade.
It brings back so many fun memories evertime I hear it! Such good music. :goodvibes

I loved Tapestry of Nations and tolerated Tapestry of Dreams. Tapestry of Nations was the best parade I have ever seen at WDW. I would watch that parade over and over as it was never the same each time.
