What do you like best here? My DH is kind of picky. Do you get a good amount of chicken, because I don't think he will eat the hummus or the tabouleh, but I want to go here and try something new. Also are the chicken nuggets that are on the child menu, like the American kind?

This is my favorite CS in all of WDW and I always get the chicken platter (not a fan of lamb). It's a pretty large platter but I can't answer as to whether or not the meat alone would satisfy your husband. I always clean my entire plate here because I love everything.

Also can't tell you about the children's plate.

I    the schwarma platter here. It is a large helping; usually enough for 2 in my group to share. Just tell him the hummus is dip - they do it really well.
Never had the kids menu here.

Something I love doing is each adult goes to a different country to pick a meal and everyone meets in a central location and shares a little of all the different tastes. I wonder if your hubby would like a brat from Germany or Fish & Chips from the UK?

I won't order anything but the veggie platter here, after two instances of them serving the meat ice cold. It used to be good when they actually served warm meat.

And yes, from a CS you can take anything you want to go.

Yes, I think he would. So, you can get food to go at CS?

Yes - all CS is served on plastic plates or in paper containers. Like the fish & chips come in paper 'boats'. They also give you a tray to carry it on.

Enjoy! :wizard:

oh! I LOVED The chicken shwarma platter- DH and I split it and it was plenty of food- I have a picture some where and as soon as I figure out how I will post it for you!

the bread is just a big hunk of normal bread- nothing special- but tasty! The chicken does have the cucumber sauce on it- tahini I think- its great but if your DH doesnt like it you can probably ask for it on the side!

Thank you, for the picture. Looks like something I would like.

I agree with this. I always keep my fingers crossed that no one will feel a need to "fix" it and then totally mess up the menu.

I didn't see this answer, but the kid's meal is just standard old chicken nuggets - no ethnicity involved.

The meals are excellent - and I would highly recommend this restaurant! One of our favorite CS restaurant.

thanks, I was wondering about the kids meal, DS is picky too, wonder who it gets that from :rotfl:

You will really like Tangeriene Cafe! :thumbsup2

I always get the chicken schwarma and my husband gets the lamb, we each have a little of both. Make sure you get plenty of sauce, it really compliments the meat.

The CS that's closest to Morrocco would be Japan or France, I would hop over one more (on the Japan side) to the American Pavillion & grab a burger or other "regular" food for your dh there and then eat at Tangeriene Cafe.

Enjoy!

This is our favorite CS by far. Go at least twice while we are at WDW.

We love the couscous and the platters here, I have never had a bad meal or cold food. We actually have been thinking of staying at the beach club villas so we can walk to the back entrance and be closer to our favorite lunch spot :)
