tamron 24-135 or sigma 24-135?

Hey people I am looking into a standard vacation lens and did a plot graph of my last vacation to disney and most of my shots fall from 27 and 100 mm so i was thinking of getting this lens and was wondering if anyone had experience with it and opinions about it as you know i am trying to establish my vacation kit and will probably include a prime as well to get a faster fstop option since the tamron in 3.5-5.6 and the sigma is 2.8 to 5.6. any opinions welcomed

I can't speak to those lenses specifically, but I've been satisfied with my Sigma 18-125 as my walk around and Sigma 70-300 zoom which I use regularly for sports.

I have heard some absolute horror stories with that Sigma in a Pentax mount. It makes the menus not work and other bad things. Supposedly the lens firmware can be updated to correct this and newer copies already have it loaded, but I decided not to risk it when I considered that lens.
