Do you feel intimidated by the professional traders (sharks) who want a king's ransom for their pins, but snub their noses at yours? Do you want to meet a bunch of friendly traders, in a safe, relaxed atmosphere?
Do you just want to have fun, swap a few pin stories and a pin or two?
If you answered YES to any of these questions and you live in Tampa, St.Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Clearwater, Seminole, Largo or any neigboring Florida city. let's get together for our very own pin meet/swap.
As an "ice breaker" I am thinking of having a pin raffle. Everyone who attends and wishes to participate will receive one raffle ticket for every pin they donate towards the raffle. There will be no limit to the number of pins you can donate or the number of tickets you can have. The more pins, the bigger the pin jackpot. The more tickets, the greater your chances of winning! All I ask is that each pin you donate is a "Disney" stamped pin that is eligible for trading at any Disney theme-park. Sometime during our meet one ticket will be drawn and one lucky trader will win some great Disney pins.
Simply email me your name, a date or two that you think you'd like to have a meet, a public place or two where you think we'd have enough room (perhaps a food court in one of the malls) and I'll hammer out the details. I will review all suggestions as to date and place and then have everyone "vote" on what is best for them. Once we have the majority, l contact everyone involved with the final details.
