I don't live down there anymore, but I would LOVE to visit the Strawberry Festival. I lived in Plant City for 2.5 years as a teen and loved it. And, even got to march in the parades for two years as a band member! Of course now it's on the other side of town from what I read. In the old days though, I could sit outside in the outdoor hallway of my junior high school and watch the festival on my lunchtime. You couldn't do that now, these days though!
Y'all have a good time for me if you meet there. Eat plenty of Strawberries!

I saw that earlier. I think that it's great if someone knows of a good place to meet and be able to sit and talk for a while too, I haven't been there enough to know a good spot. Also make sure that if this ends up going on that you let people know all the fees like parking, admission and anything else...lots of cost involved with this one but could be good!!

Gate Admission Tickets are only $8.00.
Strawberry Shortcake Ticket $2.25
I believe the armbands are around $18.00 for unlimited rides.
And parking is around $10.00.

Don't forget that not only is there strawberry shortcake there are several other tasty treats!!!!

The Strawberry Festival is great! Much better than the Florida State Fair, IMO!

Of course there is beer Bob....we are talking about one of the most loved hillbilly events you can go to in florida that is besides the PBR (professional bull riders) which I personally would like to see....no offense to anyone!!! lol

Christine- you did not mention what a great job I did on reporting the costs and coverage of the event....i'm hurt!!! NOT!!!!
