Tammy & Randy's Wishes VR:7/14/10~WP/Napa/France-PROF PICS!!!!!

Great music choices, I love how you have a mix of Disney in with all your other favorites. My mom wants to use You're Still the One if they have a VR someday - they are hoping for their 35th in 3 years.

Very cute earrings too!

I love your earings they're awesome!

Sam, Thank you for stopping bye. They are fancier than I usually wear but with my hair up I figured they would work!

Vanessa, Thanks for reading. :goodvibes We worked on mixing the songs up. DH actually picked still the one....then we had to find a version/artist we both liked. we aren't at 35 years but twenty married and several before that....but close. wow where does the time go....:goodvibes

In other news we actually added another guest....which is nice because its someone we knew really wanted to come but wasn't sure they could but now they can! My buying a few extras of everything just in case for welcome bag/favors etc is paying off.....

Lately I have been working on wording for our family sand ceremony, I have found several versions and I working on combining them.... more to come

here is the verse I have for the sand ceremony, it needs some tweaking.....

Twenty years ago _____ and _______ made a promise to one another. We have all joined them here on this day to celebrate the reaffirmation their commitment to each other along with their children . We recognize the significant role that child, and child have in the marriage and family celebrated today. They join ____ and ____ in their commitment to each other by contributing a part of each individual person into a family.

this family bond is symbolized through the pouring of these 4 individual containers of sand, each representing a member of them in all that they were, all that they are and all they will ever be.

As Each individual sand is poured into one container, the individual container of sand no longer exists, but will be joined together with the others as one. ____ and _____ will first pour their sands into the vase, showing that their marriage is the foundation of this family. Their sands mix together and symbolize their bond of love and respect that can never be separated. As child and child now add their sands, we are reminded that though we are all different people, it is our individuality which adds a unique color to the tapestry of the family. Just as the grains of sand can never b e separated and poured again into the individual containers, so is the bond of family.

In mid feb. just for fun I sent a general invitation to our VR to Mickey and Minnie in California (Disneyland), today in the mail we got an 8 by 10 autographed picture of M/ M in front of the castle and a happily ever after pin from Disneyland.:goodvibes

Today we received a certificate for our "Happily Ever After" signed by cinderella and prince charming from wdw:goodvibes
no special occasion buttons though, but I had picked up the happily ever after and just married pins in dec.:)

I think I am going to add the certificate and the M/M pic to blank pages in our photo guest book

I had a question about your aisle runner. How long is yours going to be. I know its 70 feet from the table to the door but I kinda feel like the should start from the first row of chairs. Also how far in are you putting your design. You were very smart to take a mock up to the planning session I wish I would have done that.

FOUR MONTHS! :goodvibes:cool1:

Started to organize boxes that will be shipped and hopefully two other boxes that family driving will take. more to come....:goodvibes

after talking with different family members we're going to have a family welcome breakfast at ohanas the mon morning after our family arrives.:cool1: I had hesitated to plan one because I wasn't sure about everyone paying for themselves(I didn't want anyone to feel like they had to come to breakfast), but my SIL brought up the idea, she wanted to do it so between us and some others we have it scheduled. we originally wanted chef mickeys but couldn't get a table for all of us together so we opted to go to ohanas( which we really do like).I think it will be fun!

we will still have the pool/pizza gathering along with the resort photo scavenger hunt late that afternoon ( break in between parks)for everyone. will be a busy day!:goodvibes

more to come...

we plan on doing a photo scavenger hunt at the resort with our guests and then have pizza etc by pool for a break... but I found a cool around the world scavenger hunt for epcot. Its pretty long and not really easy but I am going to include in our welcome folders for guests to try if they choose and have them return answers at DP. That way they have a couple days to work on if they want. I will have a prize for the winning team( most likely wdw gift card/disney$) and give that out before everyone leaves.....:goodvibes

Would you mind sharing the Epcot scavenger hunt? I know after doing our scavenger hunt that someone gave me on the board which covered all four parks I would love to try an Epcot specific one. I wonder if it has any similar things on it like you sometimes get when doing the Kim Possible tours :goodvibes I think the pizza party at the pool with everyone will be fun and relaxing, looking forward to reading more.

Just went back and read some of your posts from last week (we were gone for our anniversary) and I love that you're doing a welcome breakfast at O'hanas. I was also worried about planning meals that we weren't actually going to pay for our guests at but everyone asked for group reservations and really enjoyed the time together throughout the week.

The sand ceremony wording is very nice too. I also combined a couple to get exactly what I wanted for ours.

Thank you for sharing the scavenger hunt! I have saved it and plan to do it on our next trip to WDW (at a date TBD ;)).

everything looks great! I think Ohana will be so fun for a post-wedding breakfast. And you'll get to see Stitch who is so funny! The photo scavenger hunt and pizza party sounds really fun too, your guests are going to have a blast.

Thanks. I hope everyone has fun. everyone already has resort reservations and some have gotten their tickets so things are moving along....:goodvibes

Wow Tammy, you're getting so close!! 4 months will fly by!

How great to add more guests and the Ohana breakfast sounds fun.

Your guests are going to have a blast, you're doing so much for them!

How great that everyone has their reservations already! We were 1 week out before everyone finalized their reservations :headache:
