Talked to a CM last night about O'hanas....

I'm very confused now. When I was cking out the menus Ohana still has the old menu listed. So I called to make ADR's and asked a CM about the new O'Hana menu and he read to me what he had in front of him--the SAME menu as always--potatoes and even the wontons. We chatted about the neg buzz about the new changes and he says the CM's usually get daily updated info. I'm wondering now if the menu was changed back that quickly since all the bad reviews??? I wouldn't think they'd change it that quickly, would you? OR wouldn't you think they'd update the menu much quicker? I mean the change has been a few wks now right?

The CMs are rarely updated on things - I have friends that work there. Sadly. It's very frustrating for them AND for us.

I can't answer this as I've never been to their breakfast, but this thread is talking about the dinner menu changing, not the breakfast. Haven't heard anything about the breakfast changing.

Was there on Thursday night. Yes, there were pork wontons. No potatoes. Turkey was undercooked IMO. Beef was not fatty as some of the previous posts/complaints had said.

we were there feb 13th.
had pork wontons/pot sticker things
honey bbq chicken wings
turkey/pork/steak/shrimp
potatoes
broccoli
bread pudding w/ bananas foster sauce


Everything was great.

It tasted and looked like a banana tasting type bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla on it.

I looked at my pics again and found one showing a little bit of it. Here's DS10 eating only the ice cream and none of his bread pudding:

I wouldn't count on it. The info in front of him is likely outdated. Not unlike the restaurant info that came with my package confirmation. It still included restaurants that have been closed for awhile (i.e. Alfredo Di Roma).

This is the "new" new menu. It just started in the last week or maybe two tops. The potatoes are gone, replaced by a lo mein noodle type thing. Some time ago, the potatoes replaced rice. They like to change things which can be good and bad!

I do have to say while I haven't tasted the noodles yet, I do think that seems to fit the theming of the meal a bit better. But I sure did love those potatoes.
