Talk to me about strollers and ART/Toy Story buses

We have 5 kids ages 4 months to 10 years. We are bringing our double jogger, which was awesome at Disney last time (since we don't try to bring it when it's super busy). It doesn't fold super small though. How much trouble are we going to have getting it on/off the ART or Toy Story buses? We are staying at Stanford Inn & Suites, which is not walkable for our little family.

Only ridden ART, not with my own stroller, but have seen a lot. Doesn't seem to be a problem most of the time, but when it's super crowded like at park closing, it does look to be a bit of a struggle. I haven't seen anyone left behind, everyone always squeezes in, but at peak times it might be more of a challenge.

It has to be folded before you board the TS shuttle. If it doesn't fit in front of you I've seen people have to stand holding their folded stroller in the read exit area.

As long as it folds, you should be fine, though it would be good to have someone help you bring it on board as it is probably heavy. I had a double stroller and with folding it and having to rally my two kids by myself, it was hard.

The rule is that the stroller has to be folded -- however, we rode TS shuttle this summer every day and that rule was not enforced on a regular basis. We didn't have a stroller but on more than one occasion I saw people board the bus with an unfolded stroller. I remember because it was a pain in the patootie to try to get around them on the bus. You'd definitely have to fold a double stroller because the aisle wouldn't be wide enough for one that wasn't folded.

The main thing about the TS shuttle is that there are a lot of them. The shuttle has a raised area in the back that you have to go up several stairs to get to, so that would be a problem with a stroller like you describe. But if you could get one of the seats right in front, you'd be good with a folded stroller. You might have to wait one bus, but they arrive like every 5 minutes.

Thanks! The descriptions of the areas in the back help me picture it better. My husband will be with me, so if I wrangle the baby and 2-year-old, he can do the stroller. The thing that will probably take the most planning is not having stuff loose in the stroller that we can't grab out easily to facilitate easy folding I guess.

We pretty much always go for toy story and have given up on the parking structure. Its a lot more organized, there is line control, they will take the time to make sure you get in safe, its not everyman for themselves like on the Parking structures.
