Talk to me about Florida in April. Also about Jacksonville.

Sorry, I know it's slightly off-topic, but you guys are the most well-traveled people I know, and I figured someone would have some advice for me!

We went to Disney for the 1st time in August. We booked airfare with Airtran and we had to change our trip days at the last minute. We ended up going with Southwest because it was a lot cheaper, but we have a nice credit with Airtran that we must book by Feb. 6th.

Anyhoo (sorry this is getting so long-winded!) I searched for the cheapest flights in April during our spring break, and Jacksonville it is! We wouldn't have wanted to do Disney at this time because of crowds. What's the weather typically like in April in Florida? Hot enough to go to the beach? Also, we're looking for things to do or advice on what Jacksonville is like, or Amelia island. I'd really appreciate any tips you can give me. Thanks in advance!

by brother lived in Jacksonsville for years - now he lives in St Augustine.

St Augustine is just a few miles down I95 from Jacksonsville and there is more for a tourist to see and do there. It is the oldest European city in the US.

WDW in spring is lovely. After April 15 the crowds aren't bad and epcot flower/garden festavial starts.
