Talk about crazy rental car rates... My 10 day rental just jumped $100 from yesterday

I have had an intermediate booked thru Dollar for at least a month now, if not more. Still, I check very often (ok, obsessively) and today it has jumped from $277 (TOTAL) for 10 days to $380 for those same days. So glad that I plan ahead. I was bummed about the $277, since it is so much higher than what we normally pay, but heck, I'll take that over $380 any day! You would think that with DME in the picture, car companies at MCO would try to make their rates a bit more competitve.

The price may come back down, too.

I have also noticed situations when adjusting the dates a little, even if the total length of the rental was the same (about a week) the rate shown on the web site differed markedly.
