Last week Disneyland Hotel was $1100 something, today it went to $4100 for the same dates. Wow, major bummers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I'm suddenly feeling much better about the cost of my vacation package. The news just had a story this week about all the travel bargains to be had because so many people were electing not to travel this year, so hotels and airlines are offering discounts just to get people in the door.

I guess DL is recession proof.

It could be that the previous price was for a standard room and now they are sold out and you are getting a quote for a suite or concierge room. Check your room type; the rates generally do not change for the same type of room for the same dates.

Obviously not the same room option selected both times or the number of days was done incorrectly one of the times.

Hotel room rates go UP on average as the hotel goes closer and closer to capacity, something that not a lot of people know.

As for a jump that large though, I bet that the room type/view was NOT the same from the first check on prices to this last one.
