The dessert party looks so good! I'm hoping to do it in May still.
I love the Star Wars dessert parties! Well I've only really done dessert parties in DHS so don't know how it is for Wishes or Illuminations, but I love the theme of the desserts.
That's an awesome PP magic shot in front of Norway with the snow-magic effect! I've never seen that one showcased before. WOW... your Star Wars Tour was absolutely AMAMZING! Great photos, as always
Thanks! Yeah it's right in front of the Frozen Ever After Ride where the waterfall is, so just catch a PP Photographer there.
We had a great time on the tour! It was long but fun! Thank you!
I am so late to this party but just found the trip report. I've read the whole thing through and am thoroughly enjoying it.
Hi Grumpy's Wife! Great to see you here again! Thank you!!
First, Happy Birthday!

I remember reading your trip report last year for your birthday on the Cruise then visiting Disney. Nice way to celebrate!
Congratulations on completing the 5K. It does seem like such a fun time. I was in Disney two weeks ago and they had the Princess marathon going on. So many people wearing their medals and partying it up in EPCOT.
Can't wait to read more.
Thank you! I've been lucky to celebrate 2 bdays at WDW now! But I guess that was to make up of for the 39 years that I did not. Hahaha.
The Princess Weekend has a great vibe. So much camaraderie! But the crowds are high!
Thank you for reading!
Loved reading your review. It's better than bringing a book to the pool. I showed DD and she's even more excited.
Thank you! How awesome!
We've been here since the 10th and crowds have been good. Last year her Spring Break fell on the week leading up to Easter. Crowds were much heavier last March.
That's great! It sounds like you're having a great time!
How long was the tour. My trip is this June, how much outside time was there? Wondering as sometimes the hot afternoon sun kinda makes me feel ill. Thanks
The tour started at 1pm and ended at pretty much at 8pm which is when the fireworks started, so 7 hours. You will be outside a lot since you will be watching JEdi Training, March of the First Order and a Galaxy Far Far Away. The rest of the time will be indoors in attractions, rides, Backlot Express and the dessert party is inside Launch Bay; then the fireworks are outside. Also you will be walking outdoors back and forth between stuff. So I would say a good 60% is outdoors. They did say they tweaked some of the timing from the first tour they did so they are constantly improving. We told them that the times we watched the Jedi Training and Galaxy Far Far away shows was really sunny and sometimes the glare would mar the view. But that is not really a complaint - we were grateful for a nice sunny day instead of rain, but I would have preferred if it would have been overcast, hahaha. Yes June will be hot and the tour goes on rain or shine. I am not sure what happens in inclement weather and shows get canceled - do you get your money back? I doubt it. I hope you get a nice weather day if you decide on the tour!
For all that you got I'd say that is a good price!!
That dessert party looked yummy as always - Disney knows how to do the dessert parties well!
Awesome view of the fireworks!
Thank you! Disney really did a good job with this tour, and of course the dessert parties are awesome, if you're wiling to pay the price! I still think WOC is the best one because of the seats and table service.
So glad you all enjoyed The Wave and even more so you got to enjoy it with Billie and Kelly! We did the wave once last year for breakfast and were very impressed by the offerings. Small, but seemed a higher quality than some of the other buffets
It was a great breakfast! I was very impressed too. The quality was great and the company was even better
Thanks for the tip on the Minnie/Mickey meet and greet posters. The wait has always been too long, so we've never been in so good to know there is something to keep "us" (aka Casey) occupied
This is a really cute meet n greet and one which I think is worth the wait, but try going in the morning when there are less crowds.
Looks like an awesome time doing the tour. I had no idea it included the dessert party, dinner, and Jedi training for the kiddos! I hadn't considered doing it, but it really isn't that much when you consider all that is included. My hubby would love to do the march. How did the kids do during the day? I'm wondering how mine would do if someone else was in
charge
of where we'd go and when
I like how you seem like you're "whispering" with the small font, lol.
It was an awesome tour for the price. Just be prepared for some walking and being outside quite a bit. The kids we saw did fantastic, even the young ones in the strollers. I did not witness any meltdowns. The older kids had a blast with the jedi training and marching with the first order. I think the guides did a great job in keeping the kids interested with questions and making them feel involved. The kids liked talking about who their favorite characters were. I think all the kids were fans already though (unless they were dragged by their SW-crazed parents? LOL) but I did think they enjoyed following the guides who were holding up lightsabers, I guess it kinda made them feel important.
