Do you take time to have at least one sit-down breakfast during a WDW vacation before heading out for the parks?

We usually have a few big sit down breakfasts, but never before we head out for the parks. Most days we just grab something quick on our way out - a muffin, cereal bar, fruit, etc.

A few days we do a big breakfast (Kona Cafe, Cape May, Spoodles, etc.), but we usually schedule it for around 10:30a.m. or so - the latest breakfast seating available. On those days, we go to the park early and then have our late breakfast. We skip lunch on those days.

We try to schedule a couple of sit down breakfasts each trip, especially character ones. Breakfast happens to be one of my favorite meals, yet it does impact touring plans. A compromise is to schedule a late park breakfast on an EE day, i.e. Donald's at 0930-10. That gives us time to do a couple of attractions before eating. Likewise, we have also found it works out to schedule an early breakfast before park opens.

We schedule a sit down breakfast everyday and then not eat lunch. We have found that having a large breakfast and then just grazing our way through the parks allows us to see alot more attractions.

We do several (at least 1 character) breakfast each trip! We love Kona Cafe and eat there 1-2 times each trip! We also like WCC and Boma alot! :bounce:

We usually schedule one or two character breakfasts per trip. The rest of our days we eat breakfast in our rooms.

No way!

We have sit down breakfasts on the days we aren't visiting the parks, but would consider it a waste of time on park days.

Cereal, fruit , OJ, and yogurt in the room, and then we're in line while others are still eating their scrambled eggs.....

We usually have something quick in our room for most days, but a big breakfast is a huge treat for me, and we try to make time to do at least one, and then skip lunch.

I'm not a huge breakfast fan...my last two trips to the world we just ate in the room as we were getting ready. I brought cereal, granola bars and muffins/donuts from the store, and we would go get a milk and a piece of fruit to share from the food and fun center. My first trip to WDW we did have one sit down breakfast at Artist Point- it was a character meal and I had the most divine stuffed French toast. I found a recipe for it here on the DIS not to long ago and I'm going to make it for Easter I think. :D

As I have our next trip very roughly sketched out in my brain, I think we *might* go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our last morning...it's a looooonnnnggg ways away, so plans will probably change 25 times! :p

We have a big breakfast every day and then don't eat lunch - just a snack. Some days I've planned it so that we go to an early opening see a few things then have breakfast. Other days we'll eat at 8:00 and then go to a park. If you get to a park by 9 - 9:30 and then you're there all day you're not wasting any touring time. I find that if we start off with a good breakfast everyone is happier and more relaxed. You rush around all day, it is nice to start the day out without that hectic Disney pace. But, everyone likes to do things differently.

We usually only do two meals a day, one of which is usually a counter and one a sit down. Somedays breakfast is one of those and we do a late one in lieu of lunch, and somedays we choose to just do lunch and might eat a poptart in the room that morning.

None of us are big breakfast eaters, but we LOVE the character breakfasts, and would rather do those instead of character dinners or such. Saves us money, too =)

I wouldn't waste time for 3 big meals each day, too much time! =)

We usually bring breakfast with us (cereal, pop-tarts) to eat while getting ready in the morning. Saves time and money and gets you into the parks much quicker. Of course, if you have little ones, you should definitely do at least one character breakfast!!

My DS and I have found that if we eat a large breakfast we can then go without lunch (maybe just a snack or drinks) until dinner.
This has worked very well for us on our last two trips.

We are DVC so the wonderful thing is we often have breakfast right in the villa. I can have it when I get up, then read or watch TV while waiting for DH. We are rested and well fed when we hit the parks. We will usually do one character breakfast during our stay just for fun.

Hi,

IMO, you need to get a good start to your day.
