Hi - can anyone tell me if it's ok to take paracetamol and piriton in your suitcase, please, or do we have to buy equivalents over there?

Going tomorrow! Yippee......

No problem with non-prescription drugs but prescription ones should be in your hand luggage.
If you need paracetamol while you are over there it is called acetaminophen (think that's how you spell it) over there and is readily available. We have found US Pharmacists to be just as helpful as over here so don't worry.

Thanks very much - wish i'd discovered these boards 18 months ago when we started planning.

Driving to airport in 20 hours....:earsboy:

Good to know about the prescription drugs. My DM and DF and FIL are taking a whole pharmacy with them when we travel, so it will save us having to empty the suitcases at the airport if we know they have to go in hand luggage.

I love these boards!!!
