Hi
We are going to take our two little foster girls to Disney for 2 days in April. I know this is an opportunity that they will never again have in their lives if they return to their birth home. I would love any help in finding discount tickets, the best places to visit for a 6 yr old and a younger one. Im more concerned about the 6 yr old. We are staying in Tampa and will have to travel to the magic Kingdom.. Should we go to Busch Gardens or stay in the magic Kingdom.. the 6 yr old loves Cinderella and the other one likes the animals so we were thinking. I am checking with DHS about getting money to help with our trip and are hoping that we can make this a lifetime memory for both of the girls. Thanks for any help that you might be able to give

God bless you!! ::yes:: You are giving those children memories for a lifetime. I usually lurk and read the posts but your email made me want to respond. I am fairly new to the board but I have gleened enough information from these wonderful people to be able to plan my disney trip for my grandchildren and make it a dream come true for them.

If you are only going to stay for 2 days, would your finances allow you to stay on a disney resort? I am sure the girls would just love that. I just booked 2 nights @ PoP century for $74.00 a night using the discount codes located @

The best prices I have seen for park tickets has been with

If you foster daughter loves Cinderella, Disney has a character breakfast that is quite popular. However, it might be booked up. I tried to make a reservation for May and they were all booked. But, you can try to see if there were any cancellations. You should call 800wdwdine(I think that is correct)

I am sure others will respond and give you more information on planning your trip. You are a wonderful person and the goodness of life will continue to bless you as you bless others.

Have a wonderful trip!::MickeyMo

Any chance you could wring some extra money out of the food/clothing/entertainment allowance that you recieve for the foster children? When my sister and her DH were foster parents there always seemed to be quite an excess of funds at the end of the month and they would use it for special treats and activities..

You didn't mention how old the "younger" child is.. If he/she is under 3 then that ticket for the MK will be FREE! That's a great savings right there..;)

Wow...just wanted to post what a great person you are. I'm sure if you are able to go financially, these kids will remember this trip for the rest of their life....at least the 6 yo if the other one is an infant/toddler.
