Hello all!
I need some cheap, fast ideas on things to take into the parks for lunches. It would be for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. I don't want to be trapped with eating sandwiches every lunch and need more ideas!

Not sure if you'll have a microwave/stove where you're staying, but a soup thermos could keep things hot (meatballs, chicken nuggets, soup, etc).
The little hummus/pretzel packs and some fruit and cheese sticks
Lunchables - make your own if you don't like the oscar meyer stuff
My kids both love yogurt - freeze the gogurt bags, they'll be good by lunch time

This is what we have packed before
Fresh veggies and dip
Salsa and tostitos
Hummus,cheese,pickles and special crackers
Pasta salad
Home made subs OR Cold pizza
Mandarin oranges fruit cups
Frozen juice boxes act as ice and a drink
Pack in a soft sided cooler-paper plates, plastic cutlery and napkins.

Thanks for the ideas so far everyone! Yes, we will be in a condo and making meals there too.

Canned corn. LOL My hubby would probably do that if he was in charge. LOL

I was hoping you'd get the reference. Long, long ago there was a long very infamous thread where someone saw a family plop down on main street usa and open a can of corn and enjoy it as a snack!

It's still hilarious to imagine!

$5 foot longs were our favorite carry ins. Yeah, I know it's a sandwich, but far better than PB&J :)

Hey! Don't knock PB&J.
It's a 5th food group here! I still pack it for my lunch at work if I don't have leftovers to pack.
I try to keep lunchmeats to a minimum. It's a lot of preservatives and sodium. :guilty: Everything in moderation.
:goodvibes

OP, if you do pack sandwiches, try to find a hard container to separate the soft items from hard ones such as bottled water or box juices, or have an extra bag handy.
We used to pack when we stayed offsite and keeping sandwiches from being squished was our biggest challenge.

You can go to the Guest Relations booth at any park or to Disney Springs.

All of your fp+ reservations will be linked to this ticket as longed as the ticket is linked to your MDE account.

You don't need to have a MagicBand, your ticket will work. If you have a smartphone and download the My Disney Experience app, then you can keep track of your fps and ADR's that way. Or you can print them out, which is what many people do, whether or not they have a MagicBand. You can ask Concierge to print them out for you if you stay at a Disney resort. :)

Now that you mention that I think I DO recall that! LOL LOL

We love PB sandwiches too but I don't want to get sick of them!

Yogurt with berries & granola, cold pasta salad, cold fried chicken, wraps....these are a few things we have brought in before.
