My wife and I are planning our 3rd trip to MK this June. Last year, we took our (then) 3-year-old daughter. This year, we'll be adding a fourth! Our 4-month son will be coming along!

As we've been discussing the plans, we're curious to know what attractions we'd be able to ride together with our infant. I'll most like be carrying him in our Baby Bjourn, or he'd be sleeping in the stroller.

Will the cast members let me carrying him (using the carrier) on attractions such as Pooh, Peter Pan, Pirates, Its a Small World, etc.?

Thanks!

I'm sure I'll be posting some more questions as we continue our plans.

He can go on anything without a height restriction (probably most everything your 4yo can go on, unless she's quite tall and daring). Yes, you can usually use the Bjorn for him, but be careful of lapbars so that he doesn't get konked or squished!

June is sooooo hot - have you thought about how you will keep him cool in the stroller?

This was after we rode Mexico and were walking around. (Yeah, I know it was around Japan here, it was still after riding Mexico. LOL.) We pretty much took him all around in the Bjorn and the stroller. He was just under 3 months old at the time.

As for keeping him cool in the stroller. We went in May and didn't have too much trouble. Just make sure the baby has plenty to drink and take lots of breaks taking him out of the stroller. Lots of people get fans too.

ETA- We also kept a hat on him to help shade from the sun (we took it off for the pic or you wouldn't be able to see him). That age you really can't really put on sunscreen. But ask your ped since I believe that you might be able to use Mustela sunscreen on them. IIRC that's what we ended up using on his legs and arms and face.

We have taken two trips with young kids once 6 month and this past one 9 months. From what I can tell, you can bring them on almost slow rides, peter pan, snow white, haunted house, living see..... There is also the train for a cool breeze and the ride above tommorow land MAY be a little rough.

Map out the baby comfort stations. These are rooms with AC and a place to sit for awhile out of the heat. The entire family is able to go inside, they have for a $$$ diapers, formula, wipes if needed or you forget. Also while at sea world, my daughter who was 3 at the time broke out in hives. We went to first aid and they were able to help and provided a shot of benadryl

I also carried a larger towel to drape over the stroller top to ask as sun shield when needed.

Congrats on the new kiddo

Thanks everyone for your input!

I'm glad to hear that we should be able to share some attractions with our DS.

As for keeping him cool, we'll use a towel or similar method to supplement the shade provided by the stroller. We have a mister-fan that we can use while he's in the stroller, maybe we'll get a clip-on as well. We also have a broad-brimmed hat for him to wear.

I certainly will map out the baby centers. My DD was never at a park at such a young age, so this will be new to us.

BTW - we just booked our reservations, so everything is a go! Next, dining plans!

While I think that the baby care centers are an excellent resourse, don't get too hung up on making sure you go there. They can be a long way away from where you are. If you are close by, use them. They are really very nice and offer a nice break.

If you aren't close to a baby care center, you can sometimes find an indoor area to lounge in for a while. For example, in EPCOT, behind the Cool Club, is an area that has benches inside an a/c filled hall. It's comfy and not very trafficked. Also, if the baby is sleeping, the Ellen ride is 45 minutes long. And if your baby can sleep through fireworks (which mine could/can) there is no worry about noise level.
