Has anyone ever done this? I'm staying at the Polynesian and wondering what the cost would be roundtrip for either a taxi or town care service. Thanks in advance!!!!

We haven't actually done this yet, but are planning to use Quicksilver transportation service to take us to the Florida Mall for a day. We used them last year to take us to our hotel and we were really impressed with their service.

I can't remember the exact price, but I believe they told me it would be roughly $70 rountrip from POR to the Florida Mall for 3 people.

We could take a taxi, but I like the thought of knowing that when I am ready to leave, I can leave (of course we will give them a pickup time) instead of waiting around for a taxi. Plus we have a 2 year old DD with us and since we will not be bringing a car seat with us, that is one less worry I'll have since they have carseats for use at no extra charge.

You can call them at: 1 888 468 6939 or 1 407 299 1434

or check out their website: www.quicksilver-tours.com

Hope this helps!

I would say $70 r/t is conservative. If you hit any traffic on I-4 you're hosed.

A set fare car service would likely be your best bet, although you'll have to arrange specific times with them.

Not sure what the interest is, it's jsut a mall with the same stores as in every other mall. And a crowded mall at that.

We used Tiffany last Friday to go to the Outlet malls out by Universal; I think they were called Prime (used to be Beltz?) It cost us $70 round trip. That was for a van since there were 8 of us.

I can't see going out of your way for the Florida Mall either. There are several outlet malls in Orlando.

Well someone in our travelling group had their heart set on going to Bucca Di Beppo.... so we have to make the trip there for that.
