Taking a Taxi from DL to Amtrak Station?

Has anyone ever taken a taxi to the Amtrak Station? DD and her BF will be staying at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel and will need to get to the Amtrak Station by taxi. How much time should they alot to make it to the train station in plenty of time to catch their train?

DD is trying to work out the logistics of having enough time to leave an ECV scooter at Anaheim Plaza, call for a taxi and make it to the train station. They will pre-purchase their tickets. And, any idea how much it may cost for the taxi??

It's 2 1/2 miles from the DL area to the Anaheim station, so figure $9 or $10 dollars and 10 minute transit time.

Thanks for the response! I hope it doesn't take too long for the taxi to pick them up at the Plaza once they or the hotel place the call.
