My 11 1/2 month old baby girl is crusing and crawling all over the place. How do you deal with the parks when she gets antsy being in the stroller and wants to get out and be on the go.? I heard there is an area in toon town for her to crawl around in. and also a spot by the winnie the pooh ride?? any suggestions? any other suggestions about bringing a baby this age for the plane ride or what to pack?

My son was just 12 months on our trip last fall. He crawled and cruised around the hotel room, but in the parks there was so much do watch and rides that he could do that I don't remember him even asking to get out.

Things that were a hit as far as entertainment during waits or plane rides:
- suckers (with wipe handy)
- post-it flags and/or post-it notes
- small plastic slinky
- snacks in general

We took our 10 month old last May. The Pooh play area is the best! It is right across from the Pooh ride, and has a soft ground so they can crawl. There is also a neat little playground in Epcot as you walk through the flower gardens. The play area in toontown is a little crazy though, every time we are there, there's always kids going crazy. Donald's boat spurts out water in several places too, so the ground is wet. If you have too many problems and she just needs time to relax, the baby center at the entrance of the MK has a nice area for breastfeeding mothers, but if it is not being used, they let people use it with small children sometimes. There is also a area for children in there that is calmer with low lights and a tv on.
