I would prefer child # 3 to be a little bit older but this is how it stands.
Will be in WDW for third week of April. Have a 5 year old and 3 year old.
Any pointers?
I found a wrap helpful for the itty bitties. We could just get on any ride (that baby was permitted) without any trouble. It also helped me to nurse "on the go". But I imagine it would also help with bottle feeding. My arms get tired holding a baby for an extended period, so a wrap is a life saver.
We still bring a stroller. I tend to just leave the car seat behind because I don't want to have to worry about it getting wet. Though a rain cover would help. But I also don't want it stolen on purpose or by accident. Because we can live without a stroller temporarily, but not the car seat.
Intend to dress baby simply and lightly. Even in April, it can be hot easel isole for a newborn who cannot self regulate their temperature well, yet. So we the to stick with simple onesies. We do bring a blanket for when indoors with the cool a/c. They can only hydrate with breast milk or formula, so we make sure to be especially aware that feedings are happening as they should.
But other than that, we find newborns easy peasy. We are expecting our 5th at the beginning of March and will definitely be headed there mid to late April. #3 and #4 both went at 6 weeks as well.
Obviously if baby has any special issues (such has being pre-term or any medical issues that present in the early weeks), be willing to listen to the doc about any adjustments you will need for a successful trip.
