Take the Post Election Pledge with Me

So How many are willing to take this post-election pledge with me now:

I <state your DIS name> do solemnly swear that no matter who is elected President in November, I will not bemoan the "stupidity" of my fellow Americans for electing that <fill in you favorite phrase currently ****'ed out by the DIS>. Furthermore, after the weeks of legal wrangling that will ensue after the November election, I promise not to prattle on that the dreaded other guy was "selected not elected" or similar phrases.

Please feel free to add to this pledge as you see fit....keeping in mind that we want this thread, with respect to the CB and the DIS, to be a uniter not a divider.

This is the first truly positive political thread that I've read. I totally agree that whoever wins all American's should try to unite. That's the one thing about this presidential election that really bothers me is that the country is so divided that it seems like there is real hate on both sides. Good Job!

I'll gladly take the pledge. I might suggest that you change this part, "who is elected President in November" to "who is sworn in as President in January". You know, just in case.

Thanks. BTW, I'm not implying that we should stop arguing about it. After all, then we'd have to work all day...........
