Oh, I love your photos of AK at night! It doesn't even look like a theme park! Especially that evening shot of Asia across the water, it looks like you are in Asia!

You and Madison look so nicely coordinated in your clothes. It sounds like a perfect first day, but then again, I think every day at Disney is a perfect day!

This is the second AK at night post I've read today I'll bet EE was so cool at night. I'll have to make it a point to go there for PM EMH on my next trip.

I was pretty bummed I had to miss EE at night, but there's always next time!

I bet EE is awesome at night!! And I just LOVE your AK PP pics at night! Beautiful!! I sooo need to go to an EMH at AK!!

Tony said it was really neat riding EE after dark. I will have to do that next time we go. I highly recommend going to AK for EMH at night. It's so beautiful.

Great TR so far! Loved the new Dino Webkinz that Madison got I have never been to AK at night and hope to catch EMH to ride EE after dark.

She is obsessed with Webkinz. They have taken over her entire bed! AK turns into a totally different park when the sun goes down. It was just gorgeous.

Thanks! It was fun experimenting with my different camera settings. Our outfits looked pretty good on this day...can't say that they matched too well on other days though!

I have to agree with everyone else- those pics in front of the tree at night are fantastic! I guess because you rarely get to see AK at night it makes it extra special.

Night time pics of AK are very rare indeed! I don't think I've ever seen anyone else's. It was an awesome night.

We've never been at AK past 3pm, so this was a nice treat! I wish I could have experienced EE at night, but that will have to wait until next time.

The line was very short and I saw a bunch of teenagers running off the ride to get back on!

I woke up around 5:40am that morning. I was so excited for EMH!!! However, I didn't sleep too well. I think I woke up almost every hour...I didn't want to oversleep! After I got myself ready for the day, I woke up Tony and Madison around 6am. Tony went to get us some breakfast snacks while I got Madison ready to go. Tony wasn't gone too long and he brought us back a bagel w/cream cheese and a chocolate chip muffin. Before long, we were all ready to go and we headed out the door.

On the way to the bus stop I put our postcards in the mail. We were at the bus stop at 7:01am! There were only 2 people ahead of us and a bus pulled up at 7:08am. Hooray!

It was still dark out!

We pulled up to MK at 7:30am and we were the 2nd family at our turnstile.

I loved all of the fall decorations

After going through the turnstiles, we made our way to the left entrance and we were again at the very front of the crowd. So, we didn't get to really enjoy the opening show, but we could still hear it. After "rope drop", Tony & Madison headed stragiht to Space Mountain. While everyone went dashing by, I decided to take pics of all the beautiful decorations.

Look at all those people...they're just rushing to get somewhere and not taking in all of the beautiful-ness of Main Street! What a shame.

So gorgeous! (besides the awful crane)

FYI-I do have pics of every single scarecrow, but that would take up a ton of space. I'll just show you my other pics I took.

I also have pics of all the little statues around the partners statue, but I'll spare you those as well.

As you can see, I had made my way all the way down Main Street. It was great just walking slowly, waving to the CM's and taking in the beauty of the Castle. The plan was to meet up in Fantasyland, so that's where I headed.

Why hello there Mr. Crane! What is going on over those walls?

I gave Tony a call and he said they were off of Space Mtn and they were on their way to Fantasyland. I told him to meet me by Pooh. We were all back together around 8:15am. They didn't even have to wait in line for Space. They just walked straight through the queue and were on in no time. Madison LOVED it!!! (even though she told me she closed her eyes the whole time). Anyways....we got in line for Pooh and there was no line. We then headed to Peter Pan and walked right on that one too. We saw a little line by the carrousel and noticed people were waiting to meet Mary Poppins and Bert!!! So, we hopped in line (around 8:35am)

They were so cute!

After meeting some new friends, we got in line for Dumbo at 8:45am (15 min wait). We HAD to see over those walls!

Hmmm....doesn't look like a whole lot quite yet.

We were done with Dumbo at 9:10am and then we walked over to Snow White. This too was a walk on. Afterwards, we noticed that the Step-Sisters were out, so we just had to meet them!

Don't you love the pose they put Maddie in? Notice that Drizella is resting her chin on Madison's hand.

Needless to say, they were so funny! We then decided to go see Phiharmagic...a family fav. We got in line around 9:23am and we didn't have to wait long to enter the theater. Last stop on our tour around Fantasyland was the tea cups. They were going to be closed on the rest of our trip, so this was our only chance! We got in line around 9:46am (5 min wait) and look who we saw riding with a family!

After spinning around for a bit, we noticed it was time to start heading to the Contemporary and our breakfast at Chef Mickey's (we made our way to the exit around 10am for our 10:30am ADR). Of course, we had to take some PP pics on the way out.
