lol wut? At our library you can't check out materials if you have more than a dollar of fines on your card, and if it's checked out for more than a month I think that you have to pay for it. (Plus the four dollars in fines, hehe. Or maybe it's just the four dollars... I don't actually know. I probably should. Maybe I'll ask tomorrow.

court order, she probably should have known that they meant business and returned the books. Was it really worth it? Books she needed for school, I can imagine being held that long, but just a couple of popular novels... no, not seeing a need there to hold 'em for that long. 'Course, she could have forgotten, but again, the mailing they sent isn't something I would've ignored. Just a weird incident overall. O:
Also, not exactly related to the article, but I wanna know what this chick has against public libraries. Srlsy, this is like the third or fourth time in just the last few visits to the CB I've made where she had dug up some article about how dangerous and negative and useless libraries are. What gives? :|
