[Mean Queen]

UGH, my weight is getting worse. I can't continue this path as it can't be healthy. I'm disgusted.

I'm too scared to try on my nice dresses for the cruise because I doubt I will fit into them. I know I won't fit into them after the cruise. Luckily, DH had a friend at work fix our Wii so now I can start doing my Wii Fit again. Here's a Wii tip, don't let your 2 year old near it. She shoved 2 Playstation games in with my Wii Fit game. Now to find a safe place to store it.

Good morning.

My brothers new kitten is sick with upper respitory. I can't get him in until tomorrow at 1:30. My brother saw him drink a little yesterday, but he only had a few bites of food. He sleeps most of the time. Poor little guy is sneezing with gunk running from his eyes and nose. They had 1 opening today but of course it was the same time as my Dr appt.

My kitten had the same thing when I first brought her home. But I got her from the pound and i'm told that it's common for animals to get kennel cough there. Poor baby

I think we're all with you on this one! The holidays are nice but they don't do anything for my figure Don't worry, when I start to get anxious I just tell myself that i'll get back on track soon. You have to love yourself even when you've got some extra weight on. I hate to sound cheesy but you're still the same awesome person.

I was in Target earlier today when someone walked by and asked if I was on the Dis boards. I slowly said, "Yessss." Then they asked "Are you Mean Queen?" I laughed and said yes again. It was a Dis'er from the budget board. She recognized me from my Expo TV reviews. I knew there was a Dis'er in the same city as me, I just never realized we'd run into each other at Target.

Y'all need to join in on the exercise challenge! That's what the little green do-dad is down there in my sig. If you go here - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1996369 - you can see it. It's just a self-imposed challenge to exercise a certain number of minutes per month. You just do the math of how long you exercise in one session, times how many days that month you want to do it. Post your progress now and then they'll put it on the front post.

I do it because it's a little extra motivation for me to do SOMEthing! I may not make my goal but if I know I tried and did my best, then I'm good.

Yeah, my foster kittens used to have upper respitory all the time. It is very common. I checked on him this afternoon. He was just as friendly but his eyes were so goopey, they looked awful.

I should clarify, my weight problem is on the other spectrum. I have lost too much and look terrible. When I went to the Dr for my last sinus infection, I was down to 98lbs. I always lose weight with an infection b/c my body reacts to infection like I have a stomach virus and I have trouble keeping food and liquid down. Then when I get my meds, the meds make me sick as well. Therefore I have about a month of struggling to eat, making me lose weight. After my infection was over, I ended up 95lbs. Then last week when I went in again due to the yeast infection from hell, I was 94lbs. SICKENING!!! My big concern is if I get a sinus infection again and have not gained my weight back, I will drop close to 90lbs. That is disgusting.

My husband is trying to get me to eat more. He says I need to stretch my stomach out again. I can't seem to eat much at a time; I get full so quickly. I am also not eating enough for the amount of exercise I am getting. I fast walk (sometimes jog a little) with my dogs almost everyday. If someone would go with me and take the 2nd dog, I wouldn't have to go twice.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble putting weight on. I used to struggle pretty badly with an eating disorder so i've been at both ends of the spectrum and I know how frustrating it can be. I really hope you feel better and can get your health back on track

I tried to get in the week before last for early voting, but the wait was too long. My DD2 starts preschool tomorrow. I have to go in to work until noon, then I'll head over to vote. I haven't got my old job yet, it's still just my freelance. But I put DD in part-time to hold a spot, just in case.

Thanks guys. I think I figured out why I lost that other pound and went down to 94. It had to be from all the walking every day in FL. I gained that one back.

No early voting here unless you fill out an absentee ballot. So after today, no more TV commercials, radio ads or having to look at all the signs.

Just got back from voting. A whole 5 minute wait, where the person in front of me couldn't be found in the book. I made a joke that ACORN had registered him three times. They didn't find it funny.

DH will be going soon. Looks like NC is a toss up, so every one of our votes count.

I did not realize, however, that there were judge's seats up. I did my best on several of them, voting for people I had voted for before. But where I didn't know either one, I didn't voted because I could not make an informed decision.
