Kitten slept in our bathroom last night. Not feeling confident about finding someone who wants her. I hate to bring her to the shelter. She doesn't even mind my big dogs. They must look like giants standing over her. My daughter is not feeling well. She is coming down with a cold and when she holds the kitten she gets worse. Though she doesn't want to admit it. If she gets too sick, then her asthma will kick in.

Looks like it's going to rain AGAIN.

Not likely!! Although at least here, we did have a nice weekend. I tempted fate yesterday by firing up the grill for dinner, when it was thundering aaalll around me...And I won!!

I don't have to go into work until 9:00 today so I have a few extra minutes to DIS! Got some reading to catch up on....see y'all later on!

Happy Birthday Haley! My oldest is 9 as well. I feel like I am already raising a teenager. Yesterday she said, "What do you expect? I'm a tween!"

Hope all of you had a fantabulous Monday.

Somehow, and I don't know how. . .the school district hired a replacement for my parapro last night! I called the director od special services, who called the director of human resources, and by 9pm, they had a replacement. And the reaction she had? "You mean I get to work with Amanda________? (Everyone calls me by my first and ladt names together) Sure, I'll do it!" I was so excited when the principal walked in with the replacement! Now I know when I leave them to go to the vocational center after lunch, they are in good hands!

Someone looked at our land for sale this past weekend, but they thought it was too wet. Well yeah, all it does lately is rain and we have had flooding. It must look at lot wetter than normal. We had to lower the price today. Which is fine if we can sell it.

Looks like I am going to have to call the shelter tomorrow about this kitten. I can't find anyone who wants her.
