There is a site I go to for the real info. I mean the chatter that you won't get on your local stations. Its called Weather Underground. Its a site similar to this. Just about weather. You have real meteorologist as well as serious weather buffs that chat in there. Then of course you have the people like me that know just enough to cause problems. You also have the usual troll. But you soon learn who's who. I've been going to this site for years. Way before I joined here.

I'm really sorry about the kitten. But just like I said yesterday you have done you best by it.

Yes, headache is getting better. My teeth and roof of my mouth were throbbing and I can only feel it a little now. I just have a "normal" headache now.

Hey guess what!!.....It's raining here this morning, can you imagine that?!!


I am seriously starting to go loopy so if my posts start to make no sense whatsoever (I mean, more so than usual... ) then you'll know why.

But, here's the bright side: one month from tonight we'll be seeing the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue!!


And one month from tomorrow, I'll be riding Everest - for the first time EVER!


And one month from yesterday, we'll be getting into the MK EARLY!!!



Ok, now I feel good enough to carry on with my day.

I'm trying to decide between the following two options for our trip:

A) a gift basket by Peggy (FeralPeg) in our room for the boys. It would contain a different stuffed toy for each of them, plus three Epcot Passports (and a letter from "Mickey" welcoming them back to the World).

B) pre-purchase the PhotoPass CD.


The pros/cons are:

If I go with the basket, I can just buy a few of the Photopass pics and rely on my own photography for the rest.

If I go with the Photopass CD, I can let the boys pick out their own stuffed animal and get them all the Passports once in Epcot.

I'm leaning towards Option B, because we'll get a lot of family photos out of the deal, in all sorts of places around the World, and the CD comes with copyright release so I can have them printed if I want.

LegoMom - Have you had your boys get the spiky gel from the Main Street Barber? If not, I recommend it. They take colored gel, spike up the hair, paint a mickey head on the back, then cover them in glitter. I'm not sure what cool things they have for boys, but for girls we got castles, crowns, and carriages put in my DD's gel. It makes for great scrapbooking later.

Ya'll, we can't find our cocker spaniel. DH and I went across the farm on a golf cart ride while the kids were visiting our neighbor. On the back end of the farm, there is a swamp. Charlie heard a deer and started barking and chasing it. This was 2 1/2 hours ago. We haven't seen him since. Dh is out again for the third time tonight looking for him. We are worried:
1. it wasn't a deer, but a coyote we heard, which would kill him;
2. he's gotten into quicksand and can't get out;
3. he's gone on to the other side of the swamp and ended up in the highway.

This dog was my daughter's 8th birthday present and is our family friend (his picture is in my PTR). I'm sick with worry, but the kids don't know yet that he is missing, because we don't want to stress them or scare them unless something is verifiably wrong. I have already been crying tonight over this. I can't believe he just ran off like that.
