Hello all...new to the thread...not really new to the DIS dispite my post count...long story...but I've been reading the recent Harry Potter comments and I just wanted to pipe in and say that I've never read nor seen ANYTHING relating to the Harry Potter franchsie! And I read and see a lot...lol...

Thing is, I can't watch a movie with Gary Oldman in it and not see Sirius Black. The third time we watched the Dark Knight, dh stops me and says, "I know, I know, it's Sirius Black."

I like Dobby, too. I'm rereading HP7 now. DD & I saw the Tale of Desparuax on Tuesday. Emma Watson and Robbie Coltrane, Hermoine & Hargrid, lend their voices in the movie. I kept picturing Hermoine & Hargrid.

When HP first came out I thought that it was silly and wouldn't last long. Then Dec. 2006 there was a HP marathon and DD & I watched it. I've been in love with it ever since. The books are very well written.

Welcome! I'm also a huge HP fan. Though I will not reread Half-Blood Prince before the movie. I did that with Order of the Phoenix and I spent the whole movie saying "This isn't right!"

WHAT? I didn't know this. I really liked Dobby. I have not read all the books. I was waiting to see the movies. I wouldn't let my kids or husband discuss the books around me.
