The problem with our dogs is Copper. He eats us out of house and home. Neither of our dogs are neutered as of yet. But as we leash them and we live in an area where there are few dogs around, that is not a big problem. We will, however, be getting both dogs neutered after Christmas. We just have to get our bearings back straight after Charlie's ginormous vet bills. The thing I like about my dogs is they know when I'm having a bad day and do their utmost best to make me smile. They can be expensive, but I lvoe them.

Our cat, Tiger, is really a good cat, but is an outdoor cat. When we go on vacation, Tiger leaves for days at a time and although our neighbor will feed him, he just stays gone. He comes back home within 24 hours of us returning home, however.

Next time I get an animal i'm getting them pet insurance ASAP. Our oldest cat has heart disease and our youngest has kidney problems and they cost us a fortune! But we love them so we'll pay for whatever they need. But next time, I swear...

I know all about dogs eating you out of house and home. No matter how bad a day you have, dogs can always make you smile and feel loved.

Well yet another to-do is happening on the DIS and this one may be my last straw. I won't post detail here, because none of you are involved, but I am just sick this morning over something that has happened here that is so outside the realm of what the DIS should be about. I am probably going to leave the boards, because I no longer feel that I can post freely (completely within the bounds of the DIS rules, mind you!!!!) without fear of repercussion.

If anyone here is familiar with Zzub (I know Tinkerbellarella is but I don't know where she is these days!!) then you know what this is about. That's all I'll say.

But if I'm not around here anymore at least you know why!

Are we having another round of what happened a few months ago? The CB has such a bad rep that some of the people on the DCL thread were afraid to talk to me because I post on it. They were worried I'd be mean. Well, it may say so in my name, but I'm not. Snarky yes, mean no.

Wow, that's weird. With a few exceptions everyone i've met on the DIS has been really nice. I can't imagine people being so cruel.

No bannings this time (well, as of right now, that I know of...). But a grave injustice to the DISer who least deserved such treatment. It's been partially resolved, so I'm good for now. But from here on out I will be very cautious of what I choose to post.

Are you guys getting any snow tomorrow with this latest storm? I thought I heard that the greatest accumulations would be coastal Maine; I know you're not right on the coast but wondered if it will effect you!

I have not even heard the forcast and didn't know snow was coming. I guess I need to pay attention to that.

I was able to get a pirate ship toy at Amazon and have it shipped to TN free. Couldn't find what I wanted for the 1 year old though. It was either out of stock or didn't have free shipping. So I need to go shopping for age appropriate vehicles and socks. Like at my house, his socks keep vanishing.
I could order from LL Bean but I do like making the trip when it's dark b/c the decorations are so pretty. I like when they have ice sculptures too.
