I'm off to our HS State Championship Football game. It's about 60 miles away. It's going to be very cold and windy making it feel like teens. Brrrrrrr, no matter what I wear, I will be cold.

Are you sure? What about the ice sculptures? I figured those could keep things cold in the room cooler.

We're taking off. I may check in from the cruise. We plan on getting the internet. Though DH says he's bringing his laptop too because he doesn't want to sit on deck with my pink one. My evil pink plan worked!

Good morning. Where have all of you been? I need to search for a recipe today and complete my list for Thanksgiving. I'm having Thanksgiving here, but it will only be about 11 including us. I don't own a dining room table so we need to get the folding camping table out and clean it. Would be nice to have something to cover it. Oh, I can use a sheet.

Still no sign of Smiley.

You won't be the only one with folding stuff on Thanksgiving!! We do have a dining room table but I will still be short about 4 places so we're gonna set up a card table off one end to remedy that. I also don't own a set of matching chairs so half the people who come will be in folding chairs!

And my two younger boys will probably share the piano bench for their seat!

We are starting as a bit of a mix overnight but then changing to all rain, and supposed to be quite heavy tomorrow. I agree I hate ice/sleet, but I'm not ready for snow!!


I went to Shaw's a little while ago for the last few items I need for Thursday. It was already really busy!


I just took a nap with my cat..... Now back to cleaning....

We had a dusting of snow last night and now it's starting to rain. We will get so much rain that we have flood warnings.

OMG, Thanksgiving in 2 days. I have so much to do.
