As soon as I can calm this awful sinus headache down, I can write about my trip. Sinuses were not bad in FL. Back here for 1 night and I wake up with my head, nose and teeth throbbing.

I have an eye appointment this afternoon. I scratched my glasses so badly yesterday I can't wear them now. So, I'm going to get contacts today for the first time in my 34 years. I just hope I can wear them. My eyes are fine except I can't see.

I haven't gone to the CB in the past couple of days. Is it that bad? I guess I'll stay away from it.

I must admit its getting strange. At least the Webmasters are starting to shut down some of the political threads that are just strange!!

We COULD just start posting on this and other threads to keep the political ones to a minimum on the CB page, but they ( the type "A" peepulll) would probably complain that we are violating their free speech rights!

I admit I went to the CB to ask a question. Then I subscribed to my thread so I would not have to go back. I voted in a couple of polls I saw there. Then I left.

You will be fine wearing a costume. Just please, remember you'll be in the South. I saw so many people, especially kids, on the verge of heat stroke in those heavy, furry costumes. I was in shorts, my Mickey Mouse clubhouse T-Shirt, and Mickey ears (as were the other adults in my group) and it was still hot.

Great point about the costumes, Shay! The girls will be fine, as they have the Belle and fairy dresses. DD9 wanted to wear hose with her dress with the ballet flats I got her. I told her band-aids around her ankles would suffice. DS will probably need to just wear a white t-shirt under that vest to take off if case he gets too hot.

I'd love to see the Wednesday Addams outfit! It is cooler here, just cooler than our Summer. Not cool like most people think of Fall. That means 80's rather than 90's with the occasional breeze.

It's so funny to hear people here in San Diego saying that it's "cold" when it's in the low seventies. I'm from Seattle and all I can do is laugh I'll pack for warm weather but i'll bring a sweater just in case.

Wanna come do my grocery shopping and house cleaning? DH is going through the house singing "Hakuna Matata". I think he's actually getting excited, too.

DH's uncle came down from NY with three cases of pasta and a whole bunch of coupons for free spaghetti sauce. I guess we'll be eating a lot of spaghetti for a while. That's helpful, though. Our family eats spaghetti once a week.

The CB is an evil, evil, scary place right now. I think I'll avoid it for the next few weeks. I just always worry I'll miss a good thread about a new TV show, funny cat pictures, or cool Disney stuff. But the politics have just got too vile.

I see I have not missed much on the community board while I was away. I still have not been on it. We came home Friday evening, but I have been so tired, I have not really been on the computer. I need to get back into the swing of things. Back to reality.
