Thank you! Actually, our snow is not really sticking and alternates between light to non-existent with a little bit of rain. Fortunately, it's warm enough not to be icy yet, so we should be just fine.

Although, I am completely and totally pooped, so this should really be an interesting day given that my hair appt (later) is right during when DS and I would sneak a nap. Ah well.

Well, someone in my house is napping, but, it's not me.

By the time DS and I got home from our errands, it was just too late for me. I wanted him to have one though, he's battling some really nasty upper chest congestion, and he looked so beat. I know it will through off his bed time a bit having him take a nap so late, but when they're sick I figure, it's okay to bend the rules a little.

None of our snow has really been sticking, and it's changed over to rain now.

We could get 9-10 inches of snow Thurs. into Fri. The maddness needs to stop. We had 33 inches of snow in one week. We are already over our normal snowfall for the season. Now we have this storm coming.

Well, I was up all night with a sick 7 year old baby. I really hate missing work--I haven't been out since before Christmas vacation, and this week I have 2 workshops and now I'm out with Boo

DH was out with Sweetie on Monday, and he's been told to go ahead and get a substitute for tomorrow. It's almost 9 and Boo still has a fever. We aren't supposed to send her until she goes 24 hours fever free.

This stomach virus is awful this year--it's a 48-72 hour thing. And everyone is the house is getting it one at a time.

It's also supposed to rain, which is not a good thing. The Lumber and PeeDee Rivers are close to flood stage. If I can get out of the house today, I'll take my camera to take pictures of the road I live on. If it rains today, the road will be flooded. I live 5 min from the Lumber River.

Amanda - I hope the sickies in your house get better soon. It really stinks when it goes down the line, one family member at a time.

I walked out of work and was very surprised by the weather change. It was in the 60's when I got to work and the low 50's when I left.

My DS has gotten this nasty cough for the second time, so we're back on nebulizer treatments. He's in great spirits otherwise, but I feel bad for him, you know?

Ladies, I am absolutely shot. I worked our drive thru window today and my feet and back are killing me. Today was only a seven hour day, on Friday I get the privilege of doing that for 9 hours. Yay.

I've been having a hard time with my supervisor lately, and today was just sort of icing on the cake. Very frustrating, I was so tired when I got home, I just broke down and cried. I think one of the things I never realized about a second pregnancy is how much more tired I would be. Here I am in the "wonder woman" trimester, and honestly, although I've had improvements compared to the first, I don't have that boundless energy I remember from last time. I'm lucky if I can get our basic things done without me getting exhausted.

Ah well. This growing a baby stuff is tough work, eh?

TK - I think the lack of boundless energy this time around is largely due to the fact that you now have a kiddo at home who still needs your attention at the end of that long tiring work day!! (I remember well....) Rest when ye can sez I.......




Smileybug - it's been an unusual winter here, too, according to the locals. Much colder and MUCH more precip. Lots of it due to El Nino. Bring on the HEAT!!!!!!!!!



So I'm off to Florida today! Not that it's much warmer over there.....but it's Florida. And I get to see my dad. And Mean Queen! I'm bringing my lap top so I'll pop in over the weekend.

I hope I didn't forget anyone. It's been pouring here. A little colder and we would be getting a ton of snow. There is flooding and the rain has melted most of the snow. It has also made the lakes unsafe at an early date.
