I see we have another typing in the dark moment. We've had 8 3/4 inches of snow. I'm being plowed out as I type. I think I'll wait till morning to move my car back into my parking space. It's tooooooo cold to move it now, plus, I have to clean it off.

The party was awesome. Even though it was sold out I rode Space Mtn, BTMR, HM, and Splash 2 times. I saw the parade and fireworks, rode a few more rides, did some shopping, and really enjoyed myself. Now I have an excellent location for Illuminations, which I have never seen. You wouldn't think it was Christmas week today. I've never waited more than 10 min. For a ride. It's been awesome

Good morning! So who's getting snow this weekend and how much? Well, nice white Christmas anyway!

I got a ton of shopping done yesterday and I was surprised at how quickly I managed to get in to each store, find what I wanted, and get out. I guess it helps that I had a list! I still need to do DH's stocking and a few last-minute oddd-n-ends. I'm finding that DS13 is starting to move into a whole other category for Christmas gifts....he's outgrown a lot of the things that I would get for his brothers.

amanda - what's breakfast like at Boma? We had dinner there once. The food was quite unique so I'm just wondering what they do for b'fast. Hope your AK day is great!!

I love eating at Boma's. Since breakfast is more "normal", my DH doesn't mind eating there. He's not a big fan of the African themed dinner. I loved both. Though we had Thanksgiving there one year and we all loved it.

Boma's breakfast is awesome. Again, for more details, my food porn thread will be up after the trip. It's a good mixture of unusual dishes and staples. By far, the best breakfast buffet I've been to on Disney property.

Space Mountain was kind of jerky still, but I had so much fun! I haven't gotten on the People Mover, but I think of you every time I see it.

Tonight I have reservations at Narcoossee's followed by EMH at Magic Kingdom. Hope your Sunday is going well.

It all started three or four weekends ago when we were Christmas shopping at the mall. We walk by this jewelry store and he says, "Let's go in and look at rings. You can show me in person what you like." So we did. The guy working was super nice. He was getting rings out for me and I'd try them on to see how they looked. Then..I got to THE ring. I put it on and seriously I could've heard angels singing. It was perfect! It just looked perfect on my hand! The guy wrote down on a card what the kind of ring it was and all that. Then, he had me try on the ring sizes to see what size I was, and he wrote that down on the card too. He gave that to B/F (now Fiance!!) to have. I didn't think anything of it. I thought it would just sit in the back of his wallet for awhile...at least until we were done with school!

Evidently...he went back two weekends ago and got it! He already knew the size and everything, so he had it sized for me and everything! Friday, he went and picked it up on his lunch break. Then, he stopped at my parent's work and asked them if he could propose! Evidently, my mom was bawling (Happy tears!)

Yesterday, he called me and told me that we had a reservation for the night at this really fancy restaurant. I was so excited to eat there again! I didn't even think anything of it though! I thought he was just being really nice! We eat and everything..and we're walking out of the building..and walking real slow looking at all the Christmas decorations they had..and he goes, "Oh look at that!" And I was looking at this huge tree all lit up and as I turned around, he was down on his knee! The first thing out of my mouth was, "What are you doing?!" Even though I knew what he was doing! LOL. I started crying..I can't even remember all that he said..the one part I do remember was, "Will you marry me?" I was like, "Oh my gosh! Is this really happening?!" And he goes, "Will you say your answer so I can get up?!" I said, "YES YES YES!" and he put the ring on.
