Ok, I was sitting playing my Nintendogs this morning contemplating on how I was going to pay the bills for the next three months since my school job officially ended yesterday and I'm no longer getting paid till September. The phone rings; it's the temp agency. Cool!! They have a job interview for me. I have to go to the agency today to bring my paperwork up to date. Tomorrow is a working interview. Four hours. Start at 8 am. And, I'll get paid for it. Thirteen an hour.

Good morning.

Hey Smileybug, yesterday I tried a little fabric softener in my water/vinegar solution for the wallpaper removal and it worked well. Should be finished removing it all today. Need to take things off the wall like a medicine cabinet, shelves, and outlet covers to finish behind them. Then maybe we can rip out the nasty carpet. 1st here at home I need to hang laundry and pick up dog poop. Oh such fun installed for me today.

When are ya'll hopeing to have the bathroom finished? Are there other things you have to do after the bathroom is done? I hope all goes well for you today.

Trying to get as much done in the bathroom as possible before his housewarming Sat 21st. I think a lot will depend on the condition of the floor when we rip the rug out. I would like to at least have it painted and a new medicine cabinet by then. The bathroom walls are far from perfect. It may need some type of rough finish or he may not really care and just have me paint it. There are MANY things to do inside and out but much of that will be done as he has the $. Same with my house. His next major project is crawling under the house and insulating the underneath along with putting up some kind of barrier to keep rodents out. I will NOT be helping with that one. I don't work with spiders surrounding me.

I think you have gone above and beyond your sisterly duty. Reading your posts exhausts me, I can't imagine actually doing all that work.

I worked the past two days so I wasn't able to Dis as much. But I'm here the next two days. Though tomorrow is our dress rehearsal and Saturday is the recital. Saturday is also my 11th Anniversary. So DH and I will be heading out after the recital. I better get some makeup remover cloths or he'll look like he's taking out a painted lady.

Sometimes I can't believe I am doing all this work either.

Recitals are fun to watch. Enjoy. Happy Anniversary to you. Mine was yesterday but my husband forgot. I made him some cookies, but I guess he just thought I was being nice. After working on that bathroom, the last thing I wanted to do was come home and make cookies. Maybe I should have mentioned why I made them and gave him his own container. One would think he would question why I gave him a container of his own cookies and only kept out 5 for the kids and I.
