SadieDog I hope things go well for your Kitty. ​

I have to go shopping today. I need some things for the house as well as groceries. I'm not really looking forward to it. It's going to be HOT. Then I get to come home and clean. (Yeah, right) Seems like we have all been busy lately. Hope to catch at least some of you on here later.​

And guess what?!? I'll be at the beach in 5 days!

I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to more!! Maybe I'll even start my own this summer....

Well vacation is (sadly) over but I'm happy to say that I've survived the 5 days off without sunburn!!! And I'm actually happy to be back at work today what with the heat around these parts as of late and work being in the glorious A/C (we refused to put ours in at home so early in the season. Why yes, I AM kicking myself in the rear over that decision right now, thanks for asking!). Supposedly the meteorologists are promising today is the last of it. Normally I love the heat but we didn't "work up" to it. It was 55 here on Friday and then suddenly, Sunday, its was in the 90's.

Hope everyone else is having a good Tuesday morning!

You are nuts, girl... We endured one day of it and that was it - the A/C went in on Sunday!! It's 100 here right now (in the shade... ) and I am SOOO glad for that little contraption in my window. June, August...doesn't matter...90 - 100 degrees is hot regardless!!!!

BF just called to tell me the kitties are fine and that while still hot, we have a nice breeze in the house today. And apparently we're supposed to get some thunderboomers tonight to cool the area down.

You know, kitties are weird with heat. We keep the porch closed off from the house when the A/C is running, and half the time my cat will opt to go out on the porch where it's hot.... Go figure.

Years ago we had a cat who would sit in our bathroom window all day long in the heat of summer. It was the hottest room in the place, and there she was, all stretched out in the sun.

We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of "Happy Heart Farting Pooh." HHFP, as we liked to call him, was so proud of his flatulence he farted tiny hearts. He was so gassy, it only took the slight whiff of a flower to make him toot. And he did it with a smile, and Smileybug. Happy Heart Farting Pooh will be missed. He is replaced by Bzzy Butterfly Pooh, who also seems to like flowers, but is much less gassy about it. To HHFP, thhhhhhhhpt! This farts for you.

I've got me a brand spankin' new LG picture phone from Verizon Wireless! AND!...I just downloaded the main theme from the Pirates of the Carribbean movies as my ringtone, AND the "Tortuga" jig as my ringback tone!!
