Well, it seems everyone that has come to WDW was in the main pool here at the Wilderness Lodge. There were big kids jumping in the wading pool, knocking over the little ones. Some of those same boys were jumping into the big pool even though it was crowded. We moved over to the quiet pool, but then it started to rain. Now we're planning to go to MK for some counter service and maybe the parade. If I can get my DH away from baseball on the TV. :happytv:

Awww that is terrible! Big kids sometimes just don't think... glad you are enjoying the lodge!

I have an awful sinus headache. I have a severe allergy to dust/dustmites and I have been working around too much dust the last few days. It should get better soon b/c I am about to do my neti pot, nasacort, and take decongestant. We'll see how those do before taking ibuprofen. I hope I didn't do too much and end up with a sinus infection. Meds for that make me sick as a dog. The good thing is that the sun is out today.

I hope the neti pot takes that stuff out of your system. I hope you are feeling better and the trash got picked up today!

When American Idol is not on, I catch up on NCIS.

Nashville star sounds a bit scary.:rotfl2: The name sounds like it may be focused on Country music which is not my cup of tea. I would rather watch MTV.:lmao:

This is totally country. But country isn't always country. It can be a little bit of rock-n-roll too. I listen to everything. I just enjoy music.

I didn't know a person could sleep that much! She had been sick on Wednesday and I stayed home with her. On Thursday, she did not have a temperature and although she told me he throat was still itchy, I sent her to school because she was taking the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test. They called me at lunch to come pick her up. When I took her to the doctor, I felt horrible--I was such a bad mom for sending her to school on Thursday, but she didn't have a temp that morning! I thought she just had a cold.

Oh my gosh. Don't you hate it when you just don't know they are sick? I always worry that DSS will be called or something like that. You never know anymore.

My thoughts had a whole lot more information in them than the post did. Let me say it this way... My youngest son has nerve deafness in one ear. Slight, but the problem was that he did not run a fever with infections nor did he feel them. So for yearly check ups he would have scar tissue. And the doctor would say, "Why did you not bring him in for that?" I would say, "I didn't know he had one." He would just stare at me. Next time, same thing. I thought they would call DSS on me. 3 years later, they did more testing and diagnosed him with nerve deafness. Ok... now they get it.

Hi everybody! :surfweb:

Has anyone seen the movie 'I Am Legend' with Will Smith? I rented it over the weekend and loved it!! Watched it twice and can't wait to buy it on DVD. Will Smith is hot!

I saw it. I liked it. I didn't think I would but I did.

Hey Moms. How has your day been?

Pretty good. How about yours? Guess what I bought today? Go ahead... I'll wait.

No Country music for me either. I'd like to watch So You Think You Can Dance. But since my DH pays for a baseball package, it's a fight for the TV.

LegoMom - Dining out is always one of my favorite parts of a vacation. We had Le Cellier our last night. The food was great, my DD2 was not. DH ate quickly while I held her and ate the mushroom risotto (oh so good). Then I ate the steak with DD8 while the other 2 left the restaurant. DD2 got in a much better mood when Off Kilter started playing.

I'll upload pictures and more of a review later.

I have a Ressie for Le Cellier in September. It will be my 1st time eating there. I am excited though.

Have the Mushroom Filet with the mushroom risotto. It is like biting into velvet it's so tender. The cheddar cheese soup is amazing too. It is our favorite place to eat, though the Yachtsman has become a close second.

I don't blame her!! :rotfl2: I've never seen them in person, but I've heard their music and cannot wait to see them this trip!

Ok y'all....I'm really starting to feel like I don't belong on this thread.... I mean, first David C. doesn't do anything for me, and now, I seem to be the only one (save for Smileybug...) who does like country music!!!:duck:

I liked "popular" music back in the '80s. Couldn't get into anything that was popular in the '90s, and that was when a friend introduced me to Country. It's been "my thing" ever since! I loved MTV when it first came out... You could watch "real" videos all day long! Now I have the blasted channel blocked, for crying out loud! Never know what you'll see on there and gawd forbid a thousand times one of my kids should stumble across it! Yikes indeed...

So I guess I'm just the odd man out here! Oh well, I hope I'm still loved....

ETA: IN MY DEFENSE!!....I really enjoy classic rock, from the late 60s and 70s!!!!!

Of course you are! Now, if you said you didn't like Disney, that might not go over well on this board. :scared1:

Funny it just got picked up a few hours ago. It was a disgusting mound of garbage sitting there for days. Animals had ripped open bags and started taking rotten food out. It was so gross; the smell made me gag. I came home and called my brother's realtor b/c I couldn't take it anymore. He made a phone call and got it taken care of. There is only big stuff left and he said he would be back tomorrow.

The neti pot is a wonderful thing. It helped tremendously. :thumbsup2

Country music is good. :rotfl: I'm looking forward to hearing your review and seeing pictures!!

This isn't a bad thing. :lmao: My favorite rock eras are the 60's, 70's and early 80's.

Oh my goodness. I'm glad the realitor was able to get things taken care of.

I forgot to answer SadieDog about Indiana Jones. Then our power went out. Now it is out again but I am on laptop with battery.

The movie was okay. I think the ending before the ending could have been done better, if that makes sense. I think Harrison Ford looks amazingly good for his age. If you're an Indy fan you should see it, but don't expect it to be a total thrill. The stunts were great, I have to give them that.

Count me in as liking both classic rock and country. :rockband:

We do have a few things in common. I can't think of any 90's music I like either and I love classic rock. I like a wide range of music except most country and I can't stand classical. I hear it is supposed to relax people but to me it has the opposite effect. I hear it and I tense up and sometimes I catch myself clenching my fists.
