"Hey kids! Let's have some fun tonight and have breakfast for dinner." Then throw them a bowl with some cereal and milk and call it a night.

I'm gonna do it. And of course I will begin it with, "Hey, I was talking to this lady on the Dis boards and she said...":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

To think, I almost SAW the tag fairy! :cool1: :cool1: She was here and I missed seeing her... I think she has a wand with pixiedust:

So Congrats on your new tag line!! :dance3: :dance3:

And good morning... ohhh wait.... it is EVENING already... :confused3 .. I guess that means that my job is now interferring with my Dising. :sad2:

I think it will be much of the same tomorrow as well. But never fear... I can read pretty fast so I will catch up. Go ahead, test me if you must :teacher: , talk about me and see if I catch you.

Ok.. that is all...carry on.

I wouldn't make a habbit of that... I am telling you that my kids are now thinking there may NOT be any dinner as I am catching up on the boards. :surfweb: I could order pizza... or what about cereal? Isn't it better at night?

Yep.....you fit in here just FINE! :rotfl2:

I made Pizza Meatloaf Cups for dinner tonight.... the kids loved 'em!! Yay! Pretty much mix ground beef with some seasoned bread crumbs, an egg and 1/2 cup of pizza sauce, then press them into a dozen muffin cups and fill with pizza cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes @ 375, top with more sauce, and viola!....a kid-pleasing meal!

Oh, I'm sorry, was this supposed to be breakfast-for-dinner night?!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: So I told the kids and my oldest says to my youngest, I'll cook something else if you clean up. And my youngest says, "I'd rather eat cereal and then ice cream for desert in the same bowl so I only have to put two things in the dishwasher." Lazy kids....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

My oldest made microwave ramon noodles so he too would only have a bowl and spoon.

So my next question...Should I wait to tell them they need to empty the dishwasher or let them figure it out when they go to put their 2 things in?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That sounds yummy! I make something similar called meatloaf muffins. It's just a pound of lean ground beef, 2 egg whites, 1 cup water, and a box of stove top stuffing. On weight watchers, it was only 2 points each. Yours sounds good and more fattening.

If they are as lazy as you say, they may just sneak the dirty ones in with the clean ones and hope no one notices. Not that I ever did that, but it could happen. :rolleyes1

They have done it before and I am a very mean mommy. I took all the dishes out of the cabinets (only the dishes...plates, cups, glasses, bowls and silverware) and they had to reload and wash and put them all away. They have never done it since. They have a sponge they throw in right before running it so if the sponge is there... it is clean.

I was reading your muffin cups things and you said one was 2 points. I haven't done weight watchers but how many points are in a day so I can get an idea of how it compares? I am thinking that is good. I can eat 2 of them even. hmmm....

Your point value depends on your weight, height, activity level and gender. But my last point level was around 26 a day. So that gives you about 8 points for 3 meals with a light snack. I generally eat 3 muffins with ketchup (no points). Just bake them at 350 for 35 minutes.

Nice way of handling the dishes issue. :rotfl2:

Well I need to lose so much weight they might only give me 10 points. But I am thinking I could make those anyway and just eat veggies with them.

I have actually shredded up zucchini and carrots and baked it in the muffins. The whole corn didn't go as well because it wasn't hidden.

Ya'll are having a conversation about food and I'm not even here to enjoy it.:sad1: We had BLT's for supper. I cheated and used the microwaveable bacon.

Hi. Do you welcome newcomers to your thread? I am tagless.

I have never ate the microwave bacon before. Is it crispy or soggy?

There is a free points calculator somewhere online you can use. I will have to look up the link, but on the W.I.S.H. board there are tons of people using WW formulas without actually belonging to W.W. I'm in the Biggest Loser 5group over there. But I have been naughty with my workouts thus far this week, so I'll be lucky to have lost an ounce.

It isn't really crispy. But it isn't soggy either. :confused3 It's really pretty good in a sandwich. It isn't as good as good ole' fried bacon. But it works!! And it only takes 40 seconds to cook!! :thumbsup2
