Hello everybody! Hope everyone's having a good weekend. We're all sick here (cold) and I have a major midterm on Wednesday that I've been studying for, but I feel great because this time next week I'll be soaking in a hot tub as I look out over the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Sure beats looking at the barren, snow-covered cornfields I've been looking at for months now.

Ok, not so funny here at my house this morning and my resolve to move south is stronger than ever. We're having ice damming on the roof again. There's a big water stain on the ceiling of the living/dining room and its dripping. I had to call DH home from work last night and he went up with the last bit of daylight and cleaned off some snow. Today he's going back up, along with my BIL and FIL, to try to clear it off entirely. He's also cutting the two trees outside the den window.... ....because they are blocking the sun from reaching that part of the roof, and thus melting snow off. We are expecting heavy rain on Tuesday night, which you would think is a good thing, to melt snow, but its not good for snow on roofs! We also discovered mold and mildew up in the attic last night, on the underside of the roof sheathing. So guess who's replacing their roof this spring.... It needed it anyway but we were hoping to just allow for it in the selling price of the house. Not with the mold. Any house inspector that sees that will be all over it. So this probably means no Disney trip this year, which is a huge bummer, yes, but if I can get this house ready to sell and be able to move to Florida that much sooner, I'll make up for it with a set of APs next year!!

So that's my sob story for the day. Anyone else got one?!!

Time for me to shower so I can run up to Dunkin Donuts; gotta keep the crew warmed up and well fed!! .

Hmm, since I can't follow that diet (nor would I want to) I am planning on starting Slim Fast. It worked in high school, so I'm hoping it can work again. If not, I'll go back to WW.

Mixed with crushed ice, so that I can pretend it's a milkshake. Sometimes I throw in a banana or other fruit. I wonder if I can just throw in some espresso and pretend it's a frappucino?

I use about 10 cubes of ice in mine. I also like to add one packet of sweet-n-low and sometimes a little vanilla. I bet adding the expresso would be good. How many calories is in expresso?

Geez, an entire conversation with the elusive SmileyBug has occured and I about missed it!!

All this dieting talk is really depressing me. As socked in with winter as we are, it really won't last forever and before I know it, I'll be digging out the shorts and putting away the sweats and looking in the mirror going

Half my problem is I have zero time to exercise...

I"m really down right now about our probably-won't-happen Disney trip... If we weren't moving (or trying to) I'd go ahead and do it. But with that possibility on the horizon, it just doesn't make sense.

Hey LegoMom !! I'm so sorry about the winter stuff ya'll are having to endure right now. Have you thought about planning a trip and even booking it. You can cancel at 45 days out without any penalty. You might find that its possible after all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. and throwing in some pixie dust too.

Just think about all the times you will go when you do finally get to move down here. You will more than make up for missing one little year... as hard as it is now.
