I've got me a brand spankin' new LG picture phone from Verizon Wireless! AND!...I just downloaded the main theme from the Pirates of the Carribbean movies as my ringtone, AND the "Tortuga" jig as my ringback tone!!

Who knew real cell phones were so much fun!!! (yeah, I know, welcome to the 21st century... )

Congrats! Now you know why some of us obsess over the latest cell phones. They are really cool! Though we have no plans to trade our iPhones in for the newer versions. The newer ones come with a higher monthly plan.

Good morning. I'm just sitting here waiting for my kids to get off to school. Then I will jump in the shower. I need to go to the drug store and get some decongestants this morning. I have been having trouble since I spent 1 night at my camp. Even after doing the neti pot and Nasacort, I can hardly breath out of my nose. UGH Later I am off to my brothers to work on that stupid bathroom. As you can tell, I'm real excited about it. His housewarming is the 21st so I need to get moving on it. YUCK Hope you guys have something better planned for your day than I do.

You know, kitties are weird with heat. We keep the porch closed off from the house when the A/C is running, and half the time my cat will opt to go out on the porch where it's hot.... Go figure.

Years ago we had a cat who would sit in our bathroom window all day long in the heat of summer. It was the hottest room in the place, and there she was, all stretched out in the sun.

Well, thankfully when I got home the kitties were alive. And hadn't Nair'd themselves silly. Though they weren't moving a whole bunch. Just kind of flat out on the hardwood floors watching me with eyes that said, "You know what's fun? CENTRAL AIR! You know what's not fun? YOU." But it cooled off nicely last night. You know, just in time for them to exact their revenge by waking us up at 4 a.m.

Jerks.

Well, anyway, GOOD MORNING ALL!

At the moment I'm catching up on some DIS time and listening to Illuminations on Live365! But, my plans are to organize my computer desk a bit, set my scrapbooking stuff back up in the spare room (took it down when my dad came, and he left a month ago!), and swap out the winter clothes for the summer clothes for my kids.

And later I'll probably mow the jungle - I mean yard! - before we start getting lost in it.

Ok, I was sitting playing my Nintendogs this morning contemplating on how I was going to pay the bills for the next three months since my school job officially ended yesterday and I'm no longer getting paid till September. The phone rings; it's the temp agency. Cool!! They have a job interview for me. I have to go to the agency today to bring my paperwork up to date. Tomorrow is a working interview. Four hours. Start at 8 am. And, I'll get paid for it. Thirteen an hour.
