I FINALLY have a computer again. My hard drive died and we lost everything. We bought a used computer today and just got it hooked up an hour ago. My Outlook email is so differnt from my old Outlook Express. It's going to take some poking around to get used to it. I'm watching Idol now. I missed all of you.

I really missed having a computer. I got it back just as AI came on last night. I was not that excited about the show last night. I figured it was b/c I was so thrilled about having a computer again. However, I heard a few people say they didn't think the show was all that exciting last night either.

I wasn't a huge fan of AI last night either. Kris' "Heartless" was my favorite of the night. But the Idol thread has gotten so heated, I'm not even in the mood to discuss it anymore without fear of someone getting all offended.

Do you have plans for the weekend? We are working on clearing more land. Our creek is down in the heavily wooded part. We want to be able to see part of it from the house. So, a clearing we go. On the down side it will mean more grass to cut.

No, no real plans for this weekend. There is a horse show at the farm next door on Sunday, so I may take DS7 over to see that for a bit (he is every bit the horse lover that I am). The Lippizan Stallions are also performing at a nearby farm; my dad offered to get us tickets so we may do that also. I expect we'll get in some time at the beach, too! Trying to enjoy what we have around us, with gas going up again.... My big full-size van just sucks it down!

Legomom, I noticed gas going up this morning when I filled my tank. It probably wil steadily go up as summer gets closer. Glad my car gets 40mpgs. I think it was 2.22 this morning.

I was happy with the results for AI last night. I said it earlier, but Danny Gokey has a ticket straight into the Contmenporary Christian industry--so as much as I like him, he'll be okay. As far as the other 2 go, they were the most mainstream of them all.

DialIdol had it right, btw.

FInally, I haven't been on the AI thread. If all they are doing is arguing, I'm glad I'm not there.
