So who is more powerful You or the TAG FAIRY? When you changed from being WebmasterAlex to Alex, you appear to have actually gained powers....Could it be...you are The Anti-TAG FAIRY!!!!....Run Away...Hide your Tags everybody.....Hide your Colors everyone...(insert maniachal laughter). Frank Herbert wrote it best in the novel Dune...(approximation) The power to destroy a thing is the ultimate control. First, let me say I'm NOT being sarcastic - but for the record, is it not okay to congrats someone who posted they got a tag. Is it okay to make a joke on someone's post when they beg for a tag. In the lesson plan 101 & 102, it really isn't clear on these issues. If someone posts a thread about tagging in general, is it the policy that one should refrain from posting on that thread entirely - even to just joke around about it? I just want to be clear on that since this TF stuff is, as they say, 'getting out of hand'. Thanks...

It's okay to congratulate and have fun. The TF's also like to see when we've made people happy ... however, the many threads were getting a little out of hand.

This is not a popularity contest, and sometimes people may feel left out, and that is not the intention - it's all about fun - and nothing more.

Our friend, MeanLaureen, has done a good job about asking that thank you's and congratulations stay on the Tagliarchy thread, and not bump all of the other wonderful posts on the DIS Boards. She's also right, as is Miss Katholyn, that we prefer to surprise people instead of filling requests.
