We've recently moved within an hour of WDW and have been going to the parks about every other week for day trips. We are Annual Passholders and get a 10% discount at some sit down locations but nothing that has been very useful. We enjoy going to Epcot/Downtown Disney and getting an alcoholic drink at the booths outside the Countries and would like the discount for that and lounge/quick serve meals. Do you think Tables of Wonderland has any value for us? Can you use it for the booths at Food and Wine, etc or is it just for sit down dining?

You can see where it is good here http://tablesinwonderland.com/. Based on what you are saying I don't know that you will make it worth your while since it is not available for use at most Quick Service locations and not at Food & Wine. It truly focuses on the Table Service locations, with a very few lounges. (I have had it for years and it works for me, but it doesn't for everyone.)

The TIW is not valid at carts, booths and QS places except for a few exceptions like the food courts and the value resorts and the Fench Quarter plus some QS places in Animal Kingdom. This website http://tablesinwonderland.com lists all the places where it is accepted. I Know that if we were having drinks there every other week, we would see a savings plus espeically when we include the extra 10% over the AP discounts.

It works in lounges.

It does NOT work at Food&Wine festival kiosks.

Pop foodcourt
Sports foodcourt
Music foodcourt
Movies foodcourt
AOA foodcourt
SSR foodcourt
POFQ foodcourt
3(?) QS at Animal Kingdom Park

To me, that's a LOT of QS places. Those plus the lounges...sounding pretty good, especially since you go every other day*? Just start off with a foodcourt lunch or dinner and go from there?

*whew, re-read, you said every other week.

I have seen the breakdown here on the DIS. The break even point is when you spend about $500. After spending that amount you begin saving.
Have Fun

We love our card, but we are table service and drinking kind of folk ; ). Based on what you've said I don't think it would be of value to you.

I don't think the discount at resort food courts are of much value, especially for someone local. You won't be eating at all different food courts, even if you're staying onsite. All those food courts should really factor in as one likes cation for your decision making process.

You must spend at least $500 for the card to make sense; more if you eat at places where you're doubly qualified for discounts.

Ehhh...it is not a lot to me and they aren't convenient unless you are staying at one of those resorts.

I love my TIW and found it paid for itself very quickly. That said...I'm a big fan of signature dining/TS locations throughout WDW; I don't think I would have found it to be so valuable otherwise.

Yeah, I don't think the resort food court discounts are a big benefit for most people. I'm staying at All Star Sports next trip and will probably grab breakfast there, but otherwise tend to eat in the parks.

I was thinking of getting the TiW card, but my June trip with relatives is going to be a budget trip, so I'm predicting mostly QS. I wanted to treat everyone to a character meal, but the plan was 1900 Park Fare dinner, and we recently changed our trip dates, so TiW won't cover it during the time we're there. Then my next trip with the spouse is during food and wine, so we'll probably be snacking a lot. And a bunch of the table service meals we want to do are ones we'd already get 10% off from AP or Disney Visa (Jiko, Boma, Sanaa, Citrico's).

So I think you just have to look at where you think you'll be eating. But if you just like grabbing drinks or snacks at the Epcot booths and don't do sit-downs too much, it's probably not worth it for now. If you decide you do want to start doing some of the pricier table services, you can always pick up the card then.

Just looking this thread over and am a little confused. Can you stack an AP discount and Tables in Wonderland discount? Thanks!

No, you can't. We have both TIW and APs. Would be nice though.

Is there a discount for AP that doesn't have TIW? There is no way I'll hit the $500 point to break even, so TIW isn't worth it for me. But I am a new AP holder (right now I just have the shell and though it shows linked I can't get into anything on the AP site yet).

But the OP drives in and goes often. My cousins who live near the OP would drive in, stop at a foodcourt if they had budgeted for food, and eat and then go to a park. They actually almost never ate in the parks, and had only rarely had a sitdown meal in the decades they had been going to WDW. It's a whole different world when you're local like that, at least for some people.

And we're anything but local, but almost always have a car, and love the foodcourts. We're driving anyway, so we stop by different resorts for food often.

My cousins had whatever TIW was called before they changed to TIW, and used it often.

I would say not if you are just doing QS locations. It is great for TS dining though! We use it all the time!

I have friends that live close too and want to spend their time at the parks. They don't spend the time at a resort counter service.

The OP should consider which scenario fits their situation. TIW is mostly focused on TS. If it works with the short list of counter service, it is a good purchase and they should go for it.

Maybe you could review your charges over a period of time to determine if it makes sense? That is what I did to see if it made sense.
