Is the price for resale DVC TIW 150.00? If not how much is it? TIA

Correct it is $150 for DVC. I was on the fence if I should get it. In the end I did not and used my 10% for DVC member which worked pretty much anyplace but some in Vero I was going. If you drink I think it would work out better because its the only way to get discount on booze.

Considering that the OP is a resale buyer, though, they do not get the 10% savings. I have heard that resale buyers can still purchase TiW, though, so it makes it more worthwhile for them.

Oh I didn't know that. I am resale buyer but I did it before they put the rule in. I forget all you loose by buying resale.

The website says in the small print it's only for direct buyers somewhere BUT buy iit over the phone and get them to post it. I also know someone who was refused a sale as a resale buyer, complained to a supervisor, and were sold it!

I think the "losing out on 10%" comment was about DVC resale purchasers not getting any food/beverage discounts.

And ugh, why can't disney just follow its own rules? They don't follow their rules, there are too many people pushing them, and then they take the perk away entirely.

I can see why Disney would want to make TiW available to more people than other discounts, though. It encourages more sit down dining, and makes the purchasers want to spend over $750 in order to make the purchase worthwhile.
10% off on dining may encourage more dining to a degree, but not as much as 20%, and with no pressure to hit any minimum.

TiW is definitely not a restricted benefit, and the 10% dining discount is not specifically restricted either. Maybe one day Disney will actually post a list of which discounts are considered “Membership Magic” and restricted from resale buyers, but they haven’t yet. I’d fully expect to receive the dining and merchandise discounts with the white digital membership card. The TiW site says you need to show your “Membership ID or Card” (emphasis added).
