1. First of all I see Tokoyo Dining is included on the list but Teppan Edo is not I thought these were run by the same company. Does anyone know if Teppan Edo could be part of the discount.

2. I am planning on buying disney gift cards to pay for our food so I can have it paid for ahead of time. Do all restaurants that take the tables in wonderland card also take disney gift cards for payments.

Teppan Edo does not participate in the TiW program, Toyko Dining does. I do not know why the distinction.
I believe you can use your Disney Gift Cards whereever you use your TiW card .

1) Don't know why, but Teppan Edo does not participate, even though Toyko Dining does.

2) I do not believe you can use Disney gift cards for payment at restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin, although TIW discounts will be accepted. So you cannot use Disney Gift Cards for payment at every restaurant that accepts TIW.

While Teppan Edo does NOT take TiW, they DO offer an AP discount of 10% at lunch M-F. Not great but better than nothing.

I never understand why Teppan doesn't take it. As far as payment, TiW has nothing to do with payment. As long as you are at a restaurant that accepts disney gift cards then you can use them for payment.
