Will the discount apply if you order in-room dining? I thought I read somewhere that the menu for Jiko is available for "room service". If that is the case, would the 20% discount apply? My kids think room service is the coolest thing and I would like to experience it at least one time on our vacation. We are staying at the AKV and we are DVC members/AP holders/TIW members. Is there a chance that we are eligible for a discount?

It doesn't actually say on any of the information I can find. However, it does say "at certain Disney Table Service locations." That would seem to exclude room service, wouldn't you think?

Since it doesn't say explicitly, you can always ask.

Also, I think AKL has some of the best room service on property!

Not to hijack your thread, but I was wondering...

In past years you used to get a discount on some CS. Do you get any discounts on CS still or is it now just TS?

I'm trying to figure which would be a better deal for this trip, DDP or TIW.

Some CS meals are included, for example Flame Tree BBQ in AK. (according to the DIS restaurant menu page). I haven't seen a complete list (my sister asked me the same question) so I would look up the places individually and I would still ask when I got there because sometimes the web pages are not current.

For CS it is good at all AK CS locations (not snack kiosks). All Stars, POP and POFQ food courts. (Baiscally, if the resort or park has no TS location that takes the TIW then the CS location will take it.) AK has had so many changes in the last 15 months that I thought they might take away the CS locations, but so far no problem.
