Tables In Wonderland Discount at the Luau Question!!

Hey all!

I just booked a party of 5 adults for the 8 p.m. showing of "Sprit of Aloha", which is the luau at the Polynesian. Anyway, when I called they said they would not offer the TOW , 20 percent off discount. It's for May 19, Wednesday, 2010. Does anyone have any idea why?
The last time we were there was December 2009 and they offered it. Not sure what the problem is here.

That's strange! I'd call back & ask someone else. We were able to use it for the luau March 2009. Have an awesome vacation!

Hi! I did call again, and they said the same thing! WIERD right!? LOL! I wonder if I should call the Poly?

According to a list I just found randomly for 2010 - it states that TiW is only accepted for the late show at the luau. Are you doing an earlier show? Perhaps that is the reason. I honestly can't remember if we used our card there in June 2009 or not - we did the early show.

edited: oops - nevermind - I see you said 8 PM. Don't know what the issue is then.

Yes we are doing the 8 p.m. show. You're correct they do not accept the 5 p.m. show. We went in December 2009, 8 pm show and there wasn't a problem.

They can offer the discount or not offer the discount whenever they like. For whatever reason they aren't offering it on that date, or they only have a certain amount of tickets for that discount and they have sold them all.

Thanks! I'll call the Poly to see what in fact is going on. The only black out dates are major holidays and Mother's day.
