Hi all. Long time reader first time poster. If I were to buy TIW to cover non DDP purchases, how would that work? Does the discount/automatic gratuity apply to the non DDP items or the whole meal? Thanks in advance.

They'll run 2 separate checks and the automatic gratuity that is included with TIW use will only be applied to the check with items you're using the TIW discount for.

I just did this several times while using DxDP and it worked fine, and the nice thing about it is it's good enough for free valet parking, too.

Thanks, Tara! The DxDP is the one we are doing this year because it is a special trip for a member of our party. This may be the only time they ever get to go and we want to share some of the special restaurants with them. The TIW will be good for apps and beverages not covered. Thanks so much!
